So much memorablia

We recently went here for dinner. We both had the lazy man's lobster which was fresh and cooked perfectly. We shared a chicken quesadilla for an appetizer. It was quite good. There is so much to look at on the walls and shelves you can get lost in time!

This fish house provides jovial and efficient service, excellent presentation and excellent sea food. Nikki was our server on both visits and couldn't have been more welcoming, helpful and efficient. She knew the menu and how the selections were prepared. We had a variety of sea food including lobster, shrimp, scallops and fish; all of which was prepared to perfection... More

WOW. It was just like the way it was in the Good Old Days! Lots of beautifully restored antiques. Old model cars and trucks, fuel pumps, juke boxes, cameras, typewriters, model trains, and the list goes on-and-on! The place was super-clean. The food was excellent. The service was excellent. The décor was excellent. Server Skylar was great. All the other... More

Ate dinner here - was close to Main street, atmosphere is interesting and fun. The waitress was very pleasant and friendly - food was not great - not much flavor/spice to anything - there are much better places to eat.

The atmosphere is a trip down memory lane. . Elvis, John Wayne and plenty of others. Meals are served promptly and hot. Servers are quick, pleasant and competent. Very reasonable prices. Kids will love this spot - a small model train travels along the top level of the restaurant - not to mention all the vintage toys on the walls.... More

Lobster bisque didn't have any lobster in it. The rest of the food was okay. Service was fine, she as new and learning her way around. She was very friendly.

They close at 8:30 pm. We walked in at 8:05 and we were reluctant to stay for dinner. Nikki assured us it was ok. In fact other people were let in after 8:30 so we felt better. Service with a smile and the food was great. Lobster corn chowder. Spicy shrimp. They were great.

I recommend the Lobster Roll. Come on a classic buttered toasted bun. Big chunks of fresh tasty lobster! The French fries are to die for! Lobster bisque was excellent as well. Staff were very friendly and the restaurant was a fun eclectic environment, fun for families and couples alike. Good beer selection! Abbe-Jaye made a tasty and strong blueberry margarita... More

The old fashioned patty melt & fries were yummy. Sadly, the onion rings were horrid. Serving size was generous, the onion I believe was vidalia, but the breading was wicked thick, very dry, and hard but not quite crunchy cornmeal. On the plus side the waitress recognized that we were unable to eat the rings and gave us a bit... More

Its hard finding family fare for picky eaters in Bar Harbor. Everything is overpriced seafood. Rt 66 had good food in a friendly atmosphere. The kids love the scavenger hunt, finding items among all the nostalgia. The prices were reasonable. We went for an early lunch so the place was not busy, and they gave us great service despite being... More
