Good food, nice staff, fun environment, good prices

I recommend the Lobster Roll. Come on a classic buttered toasted bun. Big chunks of fresh tasty lobster! The French fries are to die for! Lobster bisque was excellent as well. Staff were very friendly and the restaurant was a fun eclectic environment, fun for families and couples alike. Good beer... read more

The old fashioned patty melt & fries were yummy. Sadly, the onion rings were horrid. Serving size was generous, the onion I believe was vidalia, but the breading was wicked thick, very dry, and hard but not quite crunchy cornmeal. On the plus side the waitress recognized that we were unable to eat the rings and gave us a bit... More

Its hard finding family fare for picky eaters in Bar Harbor. Everything is overpriced seafood. Rt 66 had good food in a friendly atmosphere. The kids love the scavenger hunt, finding items among all the nostalgia. The prices were reasonable. We went for an early lunch so the place was not busy, and they gave us great service despite being... More

This place looks very small from the street but is tall and deep on the inside. A converted church, you are kept entertained looking at all the nostalgic items while you wait for your food. The food was ok but the décor was the reason to be there. Worth the visit.

The restaurant looks tiny from the street, but don't let that fool you. A former church, the inside is quite large, and very entertaining, with all of the memorabilia from the 50's. Things that many of us would remember. Signs, cars, licence plates, movie posters, trains, etc. The booths have drive-in speakers, playing, you guessed it, 50's tunes. Not a... More

The inside decor reminds you of a revived diner spread out into a big (former church) room filled with the detritus of many garage sales. Lobster roll and turkey club were good, as were the fries. the seating (booths) was a littel uncomfortable.

I ordered the BAM BAM shrimp for an appetizer which was really tasty, but unfortunately the lobster roll in the same sauce wasn't all that good, I could hardly taste the added sauce. This was my first time ever eating a lobster roll and was disappointed about the amount of meat that was in the sandwich after having seen photos... More

We stopped for lunch calking along the street and checked this place on the Trip Advisor APP and went in for lunch. Our food was very good and the service was excellent. The interesting collection on old car parts and signs made the stop very special.

We just ate lunch at this little spot. The decor is over the top, the food is good, and the staff is friendly. The naked crab roll is piled high and the fries are really hand cut.

Good food (nice selection), great decor, friendly waitstaff. They were very concerned about a few food allergies we have, and read every label of everything being served to make sure we'd be all right. You would think that's standard in today's society, but it really isn't. Love the soups!
