Having arrived at Bar Harbor late in the after noon, we walked to the downtown and were hoping that some where decent was open. This is our first visit to the are from Australia. To our delight and surprise we walked past Paddy's and the food looked and smelt fantastic. So we had our dinner outside in the balmy fall... More

Stopped here for a light dinner and sat out on the front patio. the food was fresh, reasonable and offered many choices. There were a variety of salads, sandwiches, lobster, of course, and other options. Service was good and they had a nice selection of beers and wines. Would go back.

Had lunch while in port from a cruise ship. Conviently located across the street from the tenders dock. I had a delightful chicken salad sandwich made with avocados and raisins.. very tasty. My husband had fish and chips which was good also. Service was quick and efficient. Pleasant atmosphere. Nice change of pace from the buffet on the ship!!!!

We ate breakfast here twice as it was included in our room rate. We chose not to eat on the remaining two days which probably says it all! The service was good one day - poor the next. the coffee (brewed or latte) was almost undrinkable and my latte was served lukewarm on one day, Food was OK (eggs, pancakes,... More

This was a great place with a great atmosphere. you do though, pay for the location and that atmosphere. Better food can be found farther off main st.

We ate here twice in a recent visit to Bar Harbor. The first time we stuck with lighter pub-style sandwiches, and they were excellent. The second time we tried more traditional dinner items, and they were a little more ordinary and less successful. Beer choices were good, service was friendly, and atmosphere comfortable.

On our 3-day stay in Bar Harbour we ate there 3 times Breakfast and 2 times Dinner. The food was great. The service was nice but not more. And if you look closer to the furniture between tables and windows they are not really clean that makes the impression that this restaurant is not that hygienic.

Just had breakfast here--host let us sit in bar area because no tables were available. Thick cut Irish toast was best French toast I've ever had. Husband loved his Eggs Benedict. Nice atmosphere, great waitstaff. Very enjoyable meal.
