I would recommend breakfast here as they serve the best eggs. Irish toast was plentiful. The place itself has charm and a great view. I suggest reading the menu online in advance.

With so many excellent choices in town, can't believe we dined here. Should have known from start when the host (also manager) was rude when seating us. Not only was he not friendly, in a large cozy looking place, he sat us at tiny table directly behind host stand and in main traffic flow. I immediately asked to be moved... More

We picked Paddy's because it wasn't busy (early in season anyway) Is in a great location and is very clean. Both my wife and I had Fish (Cod) and chips. Was really looking forward to it. The portion was really really small, they didn't even add a few extra chips to try and make it look like a full meal.... More

We had drinks here one night, walked around town for awhile then came back to have a burger. The drinks are great (yummy Irish coffee!) The service was terrific and the bar staff was very friendly.I would highly recommend a stop here

Seems where ever you wander in the World these days you'll find an Irish Bar, a kind of Celtic Mc Donalds. This one was okay, the Guinness was fine but the food was typical pub grub, a shame given the other meals we had in Maine. I'd definitely go back for a drink (or two) but not to eat.

We ate here several times during our visit to Bar Harbor and each time had wonderful food and great service. The first time we came for breakfast and I had the most wonderful eggs, scrambled with ham, cheese and small wild mushrooms. It came with a cheesy hashbrown casserole and toast. The eggs were cooked to perfection. We came back... More

View is beautiful, right on the harbor. Great service and atmosphere. I had the hot corned beef sandwich, best sandwich I've ever eaten. The corned beef was so tender it would melt in your mouth. My husband had the hamburger and fries, which he enjoyed. I felt like the prices were no higher than anywhere else we had eaten. We... More
