Enjoyed a fantastic meal/wine pairing dinner. The service and food were fantastic, the wine was flowing, and the atmosphere was fantastic. I would highly recommend this intimate restaurant within the Bass Cottage Inn.

In my opinion, I was suprised when told they were no longer accepting individual reservations for dinner - now offering reservations to larger groups, only. Must have been a recent change judging by the previous reviews.

I hauled in late on Saturday and was able to get a reservation last minute due to a cancellation. I was disappointed that the menu changed and did not have the haddock anymore and instead was replaced with the Angus steak. Some of us southerners think we have great steaks. I ordered the Angus with garlic potatoes and spinach. Oh... More

This was our second dinner here this year [we discovered this place last year]. The food was superb and the service was quite responsive. We were surprised that it wasn't busy at all on a Fri. night! We have a summer house in the Bar Harbor area and eat out a lot. We think this establishment has the best food... More

We ate here while staying at the Bass Cottage Inn. It was really a great dinner. We tried different selections for each course so we could share and am very happy to report that everything we tried was wonderful. Also, for a very small place, they had a nice wine selection.

In the nicely decorated and peaceful bass cottage inn there hides an intimate restaurant. Off the main road, but definitely worth a visit. Service is very good and food prepared with a lot of attention. Three course prix-fixe with choice of fish and meat. The salmon was cooked to perfection, and was served on a bed of wild rice (an... For years we've enjoyed the delicious (and beautifully presented) breakfast at Bass Cottage Inn. This year we had an added bonus with the opening of their restaurant, 10 Tables. Terry, one of the owners and a trained chef, has brought her skills to this venture. The menu is three course price fixed and very reasonable considering the portion size and... More

Very small and intimate. Great service. Great food. Limited wine list but that will improve over time I bet. Great addition to the limited high end dining scene in BH.

We had the pleasure of having dinner at the Bass Cottage Inn on the opening night of their new restaurant, 10 Tables. Breakfast is always so delicious and beautifully prepared that we were really excited looking forward to our first dinner experience. We were not disappointed. My husband started with the sweet pea and spring onion bisque and I had... More
