Our first visit to Maine was in October and when we were in Bar Harbor we dropped into this little pub and thought we were in heaven! They treated us like locals - very friendly and welcoming - and the food was amazing. However, we are now very concerned because our next trip to Bar Harbor is in April and... More

Awesome place....Buzz is the best!!! The staff/owner treated us like long lost friends. The lobster rolls were to die for. We spent several hours here during our trip to Bar Harbor. Would recommend this place to all my friends and family.

I read the reviews and decided to stop here with my family in February. I was looking forward to the lobster rolls..what a disappointment. There were no lobster rolls or seafood of any kind on the menu. The menu had maybe 6 entrees: burger, chicken sandwich, meatball sub, pulled pork, etc. My wife had the meatball sub which came with... I went with my family during the offseason. We seated ourselves and the bartender took our order. The food was pretty good but nothing special, and my order was missing the coleslaw. Unlike other places in the area, they didn't have a single seafood item on the menu. It took 2 attempts before we got the bartenders attention for refills... More

Okay so yes, this place is attached to a laundramat & hidden behind another building & next to an empty hotel....but the food was so good. It is out of the busy pace of town. It is clean. And it is a local place where I believe few tourists go. Do not go for the setting. Do not go for... More

This place is truly a hidden gem... its hidden away from all the craziness in town. The food was great but the service was not. I ordered a lobster and my wife a buffalo chicken sandwich. Both were as ordered and tasted fantastic. The down side is the service... we sat ourselves and had to ask the bartender to take... More

This restaurant/pub is in a great location but does not have the service to make it what it should be. I've been here many times since it's opening and can honestly say that the help is what makes it sub par. I used to love going here because it's in town but away from all the hectic party goers. I... The Fantail Pub is a half block off the main street and shares a building with a laundramat. It's not easy to find and may not be the most attractive restaurant in town, but has perhaps the freshest lobster, clam, and crab dishes in town. The bisques also are excellent. It has a simple pub atmosphere and modest prices. It's... More
