First of all, my review is based on two visits to 'Side Street Cafe'. So it's my personal taste. 1. BBQ pork ribs - My kids loved it. 2. Fish sandwich - My wife gave up eating it and picked up my hamburger. I think a slice of lime in the sandwich might be average eaters like my wife and... More

We asked a person on the Nature Cruise where to get a burger and were directed here. It is a very friendly restaurant. We sat at the bar and enjoyed our burger and sandwich. They do a good business.

Food was wonderful! Waitress was great, but the food runner decided to leave us confused by dropping a rude remark along with our appetizers...working and living locally for a number of seasons I understand patience runs thin once fall hits, but this was completely unprovoked. Her bad vibes didn't overshadow the excellent dinner, cosmos and dessert; the reason I send... More

Lunch, dinner, drinks.....you name it, it's a great spot on a nice quiet street. Go there. Great menu with lots of choices.

Side Street is noisy and boisterous with super food and great service. The mac and cheese are super good. Reasonable in price, too! We always try to get here when visiting Bar Harbor

I've eaten at Side St. Cafe several times. Always good food and excellent, friendly service. I'm a celiac (gluten -intolerant) and their menu has many gluten-free choices. Highly recommended.

This place was suggested by a couple of locals as soon as we pulled in looking fir lunch. Outstanding choice. Great service and very knowledgeable. Clam Chowder and Lobster Rolls are suggested but you have your choice of seafood or traditional selections. Recommended

Very busy place aptly named since it's off the main drag. There's a parking lot across the street which was handy. A very full menu including make-your-own macaroni and cheese. I had the 1/2 size mac 'n cheese with lobster and roasted vegetables and the portion was enormous! The dish was quite tasty. My husband had the lobster roll and... More

Last year, the food was kind of eh but we decided to try Side Street Cafe again and was pleasantly surprised they were back to being really good. I had the scallops and they were tasty. Prefer a little more salt on them otherwise they would have been excellent. Had a lobster meat skewer added to my Bloody Mary and... More
