We went here because it was supposed to have very good lobster rolls and they did not disappoint. A fun bar/café, lively atmosphere and good service. We would came here again the next time we are in Bar Harbor.

We were in town as a stop on a New England/Canada cruise and chose this great spot after reading umpteen reviews of Bar Harbor restaurants. Being in town for only a few hours, rather than days, our choice had to be spot on, and it was! Having grown up near Boston but now living in Florida, I was looking forward... More

Asked at the Atlantic Eyrie Lodge of a good place for a good and reasonably priced restaurant for lunch and this was one of the suggestions. The cafe is located on a side street in down town Bar Harbor. The service was great and the food was excellent. As suggested by the Lodge we took the Island explore bus and... More

Lots of variety in Gluten-free except desserts, which they are supposed to be working on. Everyone in our party liked their food.

Step away from the crowded main street and enjoy a great meal with friendly staff and great food. Had a lunch and dinner here and wish we had more time to return for more.

I really enjoyed my black bean burger eventhough it did not hold together very well. My husbands burger, on the other hand was not very well cooked and bland . The fries, that came highly recommended, were soft and it was a very small serving.

We visited Bar Harbor while on a New England cruise. The local guide we hired gave us a list of his favorite places and we tried Side Street Café for lunch. Amazing and RICH mac and cheese for an appetizer. After that we both had sandwiches that were really good. If you are in Bar Harbor you have to try... More

While visiting Bar Harbor, I felt that I wanted to find an establishment that catered more to the locals than the tourist trade. (Yes, I was a tourist.) Came upon this restaurant while wandering around the less traveled main streets of Bar Harbor. Liked the posted menu, so decided to give it a try and was not disappointed. I am... More

Food was absolutely delicious! Lobster stew is good enough to be dessert! Lobster macncheese was wonderful! Featured on Food Network, and did not disappoint. Oh, we did have real dessert-Blueberry pie scrumptious!

Really enjoyed the lobster chowder-lots of lobster- and lobster roll. Nice casual atmosphere with excellent service.
