We have been to Leary's years past and it was good to see that it hasn't changed much at all. We really like this place. The bartender was had this day was a lot of fun, very personable. The prices were more than fair. It is an easy place to not see, but well worth looking for.

Been going to learys for a few years now and is the key to a good night out. Gives a small local bar feel while still inviting to guests. Live music on Friday nights and a beer club make for a great combination.

Everyone in my party enjoyed their lunch. Two people had the fish sandwich and claimed it was one of he best they had every had. I had corned beef and cabbage. It was delicious!

Good pub food, and ample selection of beer on tap. Irish ambiance in downtown Bar Harbor. Situated back off the street, it may be missed on first pass. On a hot summer day, the beers were cold!

I was visiting Maine solo for a service for my mom. I decided to spend the day in Bar Harbor but knew I needed to find a place to watch the US vs. Portugal World Cup match. I asked a guy in town and he asked do you want to go a place that's a sports bar or a more... More

We were all set to enjoy a good Irish meal based on their line menu...specifically Bangers & Mash, Guiness Shepherds Pie, and Real Ale Beef Stew. To our surprise when we got there it turned out to be a burger joint. The only explanation the bartender offered was that they "change the menu quite often" Please understand the rating I'm... More

Do not overlook this gem on your visit to BH, whether you're a local or from out of town. True Irish pub fans will appreciate the feel of this place, something you can tell the owners took great care to curate on their own. This is not an Irish pub from Disney World; its not some large, cookie-cutter, plastic version,... More

Leary's Is a great Irish pub. The drinks are wonderful and the food it top notch. The Staff was friendly and I got to meet a bunch of really fun people. They have games and books on each table, and fun Irish music playing in the background. I went back several times and was greeted each time by bartenders that... More

A truly unique experience in one of Bar Harbor's hidden treasures. The music lures you in and once you've crossed the threshold, you'll be Irish for as long as you stay. The bartender, Zach was friendly and never let my pint glass go dry, just as it should be! I had the mussels and enjoyed them immensely. It was so... More

This has to by be the smallest bar I've ever been in by far! The sign is clever it says "the eastern most & closest irish pub to Ireland in America". Great music playing in the background, fun decor, and it's probably the first time I've ever been served a whiskey sour in a 16 oz glass which was awesome. I... More
