This is a fabulous place--if youi are looking for a huge, non-descript place, this is not the one for you. It iw warm inviting and cozy. Remember Cheers on TV, that is what this place is like--Brian, one of the bartenders has an amazing ability to make you feel at home instantly and to remember your name (just like Cheers).... More

I love Leary's and frequent it ALOT. Bryan the head bartender is fun, conversational, and welcoming. You can tell by the local crowd that people come there not just for good drinks and a relaxed atmosphere but because they know a good bartender when they see one. Open year round it's my "go to" spot when I want to get... More

We have been going to Leary's Landing for many years (since it was on Cottage Street) during our trips to Bar Harbor and have really enjoyed it. That is until recently when a new bartender came on board. This summer (2014) I stopped in Leary's and was met by a humorless, sarcastic, bartender named Bryce. I figured he was having... More

For a small irish pub the food was really great and good value. Would highly recommend. Irish music just slightly too loud but didn't take away from the overall experience

Recently had a burger & beer here while watching a football game on the big screen tv. The burger was cooked perfectly, juicy, with Bleu cheese and grilled onions on a pretzel bun--delicious! It came with lots if fries that were pretty standard, but good. My husband and I split the meal and we were wishing later we had each... More

Terrible hamburgers & French fries. Cold. No Taste. The only thing just a little bit good was the beer. Bartender was only interested in himself.

We had both ordered a burger that was supposed to come with blue cheese and bacon. They changed the bacon to onions without telling us. Not a bad combination, but when you are expecting bacon and get onions it is disappointing. The burgers were very thin and you couldn’t really taste it over the onions. We did get two great... More

We have been to Leary's years past and it was good to see that it hasn't changed much at all. We really like this place. The bartender was had this day was a lot of fun, very personable. The prices were more than fair. It is an easy place to not see, but well worth looking for.
