Morning "Glory", indeed, but don't let the name "bakery" limit your understanding of this place. Morning Glory not only has fantastic breads, bagels, and pastries, but they have a nice variety of really healthy and fresh foods too, many gluten-free choices, and soups like red pepper coconut and a hearty borscht (I had both and they were so nice.) The... More

if you value a good breakfast than you have to visit Morning Glory Bakery. A huge variety of pastry, bread and other food, I guess sometimes you have to wait in a long line, the place is quiet small, they have only 4 or 5 tables but you can always take it out and eat outside or in your room,... This is a wonderful place for coffee and a quick breakfast or lunch. The coffee drinks were good, but the bagel egg and sausage breakfast was memorable, not run of the mill. We can't wait to return tomorrow to try the quiche.

We didn't want to have a big breakfast in our hotel (the wonderful West Street Hotel) and therefore asked the nice receptionist to recommend on a good bakery. Morning Glory is just steps away from the hotel – and it was such a nice "discovery": It's cute and vividly painted in yellow. Costumers are flowing inside all the time. Everything... More

Best bakery in town. We keep going back over and over. Great staff. We tried the following: double shot latte, coconut water, chai tea, blueberry pastry, cinnamon roll, "Ralphie" curried chicken salad with Cucumbers and Greens, “”roasted vegetable sandwich, and a tofu, sauer kraut, thousand island on wheat bread & “Arial” - Our chick pea hummus, Cucumbers, Carrots, Tomates, Red... Purchased some bakery items to take back to our cottage for breakfast. The apple pastries were just OK. Too much dough and not enough filling for my taste. Prices were a little more than I expected.

Having trouble finding places open early for breakfast we search and found Morning Glory. Quite the popular place as all the tables were full and there was a small line. The bakery staff were busy which was fun to watch. We ordered bagels which were good and were exactly what we were looking for.

My husband and I were on our way to Acadia and wanted a mid-morning treat to eat along the way. We had read all the great reviews of Morning Glory Bakery. We stopped in and ordered sticky buns. The girl waiting on us was short with us and seemed like we were such a bother to wait on. She was... More

We walked around the corner to this bakery after our meal at the Thirsty Whale. I enjoyed a large chocolate chip cookie and on the suggestion of the behind the counter girl, my husband got the cheesecake brownie. The brownie was much better once zapped for a few seconds in the microwave to allowed the chocolate goodness to melt just... More
