We purchased 3 pastries to carry into Acadia National Park with us after having breakfast nearby. We didn't spend much time inside the bakery, but the young woman helping us wasn't friendly. Immediately, I decided I wouldn't let her coldness bother me, but the young woman stared at us unsmilingly and had no reaction to anything we said, so we... More

Good blueberry muffin and coffee. Their sandwich menu looks so promising I wish it was time for lunch. I'm still puzzled by it supposedly is a cell free zone.

We visited this Cafe on our way out of bar harbor after vacation. We had received a gift certificate and went there for bagels in the morning. It was very busy so we assumed the food must be very good! We waited approx 10 minutes for our bagels. The bagels were the new York chewy style, which I am not... More

We got sandwiches for lunch from several different places in Bar Harbor and these were by far the best. I recommend the curry chicken salad sandwich, which was waaay better than the chicken salad sandwich I got from the Downeast Deli and only a little more expensive.

Love to stop at Morning Glory on any visit. The pastries and coffee are excellent, as is all their baked goods. Relax outside and watch the world go by!

We got this advice at a local photographer website: grab sandwiches at Morning Glory bakery so you don´t have to wait in line for a long time to eat at the Park (where they only have one eatery). It was the best advice, not just because it made our life much easier, but also because they have very good stuff.... More

Few bakeries in the area, so what they had was good. Good buns and pie, bread iffy! Also enjoyed their cheese cake. Bar harbor is not known for bakeries, so go here

We stopped here a couple of mornings. The breakfast here is tasty and delicious. The service isn't bad, but it was somewhat crowded on both mornings, and the place is small. There also isn't much room to sit down. My advice - get your food here, get your coffee at Coffee Hound, and sit on a bench in the park... More

We almost passed this by because we were looking for lunch and not baked goods. But we stopped to check it out and had one of the best lunches ever! Quiche and salad, plus we stocked up on snacks for our climb later (why eat a Cliff Bar when you can eat a Blondie?!). They had many yummy-sounding sandwiches and... More

This is a wonderful bakery that's open all day. We had scones, muffins, cookies, blueberry pie - you name it and we ate it. Bakeries are among my favorite food purveyors and this one is spectacular. It can get crowded and the screen door is kind of a pain when you are waiting in line but the staff is cheerful... More
