Despite the recent opening of a "five-star" Thai hotel restaurant on Guam (see my review for Dusit Thani Guam), Ban Thai remains the undisputed leader in Thai cuisine quality and value. Frankly, the food is better here than at the fancy hotel, and for half the price, or less! True, the atmosphere at Ban Thai is nothing to cheer about... More

Food was very tasty at a reasonable price. Service OK, understaffed during lunch hour. Thai tea was delicious!

We were stationed here from 07-10 and came back here on second tour and this is our go to Thai place. No where on island has sweet rice, and Ban Thai makes it!!!! If you come during peak hours, expect to wait. My family and I wait every time. Well worth it!

This place is really nice, the food is okay and the price is very convinient. The only bad thing is that if u don't have a reservation you have to wait forever. Fast with the ordination but the food got to our table after 25 mins, and the drinks after 15! I suggest you this place during the week I... More

Expect long lines at lunch for the Thai buffet. Pad Thai, Tom ka, penang curry, papaya salad, fried chicken, lumpia, beef salad and more. Make sure you look out for the fried bananas because they are delicious but don't make it on the buffet for longer than 2 minutes.

Ban Thai has a good lunch buffet. The number of choices in the buffet is small, but the quality & flavor is very good. Come early, because it fills up fast. The ala carte menu has a good selection of dishes, and the food is cooked fresh. Good for a quick lunch or a more relaxed dinner. Seating is available... More

We've been "on island" for only about two months and already we've eaten here twice. Granted, we hate to cook and this restaurant is within walking distance of our home. Regardless, it's really good! I had the Phat Thai and it was really good. The wontons however, are something you'll want to write home about: light and crispy-- better than... More

Ban Thai serves Thai lunch buffet. Most delicious thing on their menu is the fried bananas! Go on Wednesdays or Fridays....those are the only days they serve it! Best time to go is at 11:30 am. Get their early so you can have a table....they get pretty busy! Everything on the menu is delicious! If you like Thai food and... More

Ban Thai is a very consistent restaurant in terms of quality and value. The food served in their buffet has variety and the soup station near the bar is a meal by itself. If you are looking for a place to dine and wants to get your money's worth and appetite satisfied, this is the place to go
