Worth the wait-seafood and BBQ

This landmark restaurant is worth the long wait if you happen to go during "rush" hours. We had a late lunch at 2:00 and got right in. Excellent fresh seafood and traditional Guam BBQ. Tempura soft shell crab BLT and a Beggars Purse appetizer--delish! WIll definitely go back for more! Very good... read more

Make sure you come early. Place is small with only a few tables and is packed by 6. We got there about 5 and there were plenty of seats but don't serve entrees until 6. BBQ is available before 6 so we ordered the platter with all 3 types (chx, short ribs, other ribs). Quite tasty. You don't need directions... More

I was waiting for a table for more than the projected time I was given and to top it all off the Lady manager asked me to stop standing and have a seat. Its not my fault I did a generous thing and got up to have a woman sit down. The food was severely soured by my initial 20... More

If you're visiting Guam and want to try out some local cuisine, Proa is your best bet. The BBQ plates are my go to dish. One draw back is the seating and wait. If the restaurant is busy the wait is usually long.

Went there around 20:45hrs. Waiting over forty minute there. Reception staff walked around even with an empty table. He went to celebrate guest birthday, singing song instead of arrange a table for guest to seat. Food quality in average same as regular café. Serving staffs was not hurry to tidy up table after guest left. Might there were lot of... More

We ate there yesterday afternoon. Had salad followed by a chicken teriyaki sandwich. (Enough for two to share). Plus a couple of beers. For English folk out there, the price was about what Pizza express would charge for a couple of pizzas and the beers. Very good service and very busy place. Enjoyed it.

I really enjoy their hibachi chicken with red rice and fresh simple salad. It's a good value and very yummy. I usually take off the chicken skin to eliminate fat although it tastes good of course. Why I didn't come here more often this time around as I usually go frequently when on island. The place is quite popular and... More

The best BBQ you can get in a restaurant and a menu that changes to allow for their chefs imaginative to run wild with flavors I never thought tasty. I am always excited to see what's new every time I go. Great service as well.

We were told not to miss out on this restaurant but we would have saved $100 and eaten a better meal elsewhere. There was a long wait, service was not 100%, and the food was only so-so. Not worth the $100+ we spent to feed 2 adults and 2 kids.
