I was skeptical about eating here with the family as the latest reviews are been mixed. Happy to say that Niji was above my expectation. First thing to get out of the way is the price point. There is no use writing down that the price is a little high for the food because EVERYTHING on Guam is a little... More

Four of us had a great meal at Niji - it is spacious and extremely attractive. Lovely server.. But for the squeamish folks in your group - the grilled shrimp will come with the heads on! - "Here's looking at you. kid!"

This is just an expensive restaurant. The food was just fine and the service is horrible. The place wasn't that busy and you cannot find the servers. Not coming back to this place.

I have enjoyed Niji but not today. They changed their steaks to thin short ribs...not tender but chewy meat. It looks like they precook it and then put it on the grill to reheat it. For the price you pay, you should get better quality. Its sad because this used to be one of my favorite japanese restaurants on Guam.... More

My husband took me here for our anniversary dinner on our recent trip to Guam. It wasn't as romantic as he was expecting because we were the only people there (baffling!) but whatever, it was delicious! They have a tuna belly roll that was our absolute favorite. Try it if you go. We stayed within the maki realm, of which... More

Food is decent and a big selection of nigiri but that's about it. Had some teppanyaki fish, beef, and tempura shrimp. In general lacking in selection. However food quality was above average. I would consider this one of the better restaurant in Hyatt. Ranked #6: Fujiichiban Ramen 1 (near Acanta Mall) Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon Proa Hagatna Al Dente... More

Have to visit Niji and enjoy authentic Japanese food! For only US$ 24.70, all you can eat, sushi, sashimi, tempura, teppanyaki, oodles of noodles...you name it they have it!

This restaurant in the Hyatt Hotel is a regular of ours. It has very authentic Japanese fare, well prepared and in buffet form for lunch and Sunday brunch. The food is fresh, the sashimi and sushi excellent and the hot items are cooked in a separate room continually throughout the time of the buffet. Highly recommended; a local favorite.

I've been here many times for lunch and dinner..and I like the food and sushi buffet but sometimes they don't refill the buffet often enough (like the tempura shrimp and beef steaks) I had to ask more than once. Not much desserts to choose from. Dinner is too pricey (over $60/$70 for 2 people), lunch is cheapest and sunday buffets... More
