Nice place for lunch. The service and food is slow. The hummus is good. Would really rate it as a five, but again the service is very slow.

Near Chamorro Village. Interior wise it's pretty much your average bar - pretty dark even during the day. The IPA on tap is superb. Only had the grilled antichoke&cheese thing but was lovely. Looked as if a lot of the locals go, so that's a good sign. Would definitely go there again on my next visit.

Great mix of Greek plus Pacific rim, plus a micro- brewery, and live music on weekends. The kitchen can't keep up. The waitresses are good, so there is no excuse for a gyro and a salad to take 50 minutes to arrive. Stopped going there a couple of years ago. Decided to give them another chance. Same problems. Not likely... More

Great atmosphere, but service is lacking! Food quality and quantity is outstanding. On this visit, I was very disappointed with my service or lack there of. Had the jerk shrimp plate and was impressed with the sautéed okra with mild curry sauce. Plate was balanced and a good merge between the seafood and the rice.

We have gone their twice now and each time is nice. The food has always been good. And the beers were much better than we expected......especially the passion flower. Good night out not too loud so you can enjoy a conversation

Outstandingly friendly service and good quality beers. They do a good ahi sandwich, too. The best place on the island for a good beer by far. Nice atmosphere, too.

Very good food at a fun place. A few flat screens to watch sports. Very good food and awesome specials. Beer brewed on site. You can help brew on Sunday mornings.

Visited this quaint tavern yesterday and was quite impressed. While I am never a fan of restaurants that don't make it clear to sit yourself or wait for hostess - the food made up for this discomfort! Service was slow in the beginning and no one came to check on us, refill glasses or give us our check. That is... More

I went here three times in my three week stay on Guam and every time was great. They have a wide assortment of food on the menu and every dish that I had tasted very good and the food is modestly priced (~$17/plate). Also, it's a tavern so it has its own beer which is awesome. I'm a huge fan... More

We eat at the Mermaid 1-2 times a week. The lunch and dinner specials are terrific - we especially like any soup/sandwich combo at lunch and the jambalaya for dinner. The Mermaid is a perfect place for drinks after work - the hummus and dry buffalo wings are ideal to share with a few people. We love the atmosphere of... More
