It seems like every time I come to Waikele I always find myself in front of Leonard's. Got a half dozen original and half dozen Dobash (chocolate filled) this trip. My family loves them!! Hot food, quick service.

This was a first for us on our trip to Oahu and we did go to the food truck in Waikele. How the malasadas could be any better any where else on earth is a mystery to me. They were fresh, hot and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We did try the haupia filled but thought... More

Stopped in on our way to the airport. It was great. Short wait for the cinnamon and regular but it was worth it. Served very hot and fresh. Easy access and quick service. Better experience than I had at the restaurant in Honolulu.

If you are looking for hot and fresh malasadas and you are on the Leeward side of the island of Oahu - then head over to the Leonards truck in Waikele. The malasadas are awesome! The line can be long at times but well worth the wait! Great instead of doughnuts for an out of town guest - let them... More

They don't keep well, not even if microwaved. My husband liked the cinnamon/sugar one and I was all for the coconut filled one.

Was a rainy day when we stopped with 2 ahead of me in line, they were making them fresh and line quickly grew to almost a dozen deep. Melt in your mouth fresh!! Definitely on my list of places to keep coming back too! Will try the original location next time!

After many years(10)of eating Leonard malasadas I can definitely say that the malasadas at the main store are so much better than this wagon. It seems that the oil used in the wagon needs to be replaced more often.

Tried this and the main store a day apart, no difference in taste and quality. Located in a rather quiet corner of the carpark.

Sadly, the Leonard's food truck at the mall is not equal to the real Leonard's experience in Honolulu. The malasadas weren't really fresh, and they lacked flavor. We did buy custard and pumpkin pies that were made in the Mother Leonard's, as we call it. The pies were excellent. Sorry the malasadas weren't.

We just sat down and started eating half of a dozen. The rest we saved for another day. Well, it is not often that we allow ourselves to splurge on malasadas (donuts), except at the Punahou Carnival which is much closer to our home. A "must" in Waikele.
