Great staff, spotless overall, friendly welcome. Excellent coconut and garlic shrimp plates too. But, the Kalbi Beef is better than the Kalbi Beef I've eaten in Korea. Well worth a stop. Only thing you need is an appetite.

We picked up lunch from Ono Steaks & Shrimp Shack (not the truck) to bring to the beach. The food was wonderful and the two people working there that day were helpful and friendly. Son got pork (he got a lot of pork on Oahu - tasty!), I got a fish plate and so did my husband. There were 4... More

Decided to try something different in Waimanalo instead of our favorite, Sweet Home Waimanalo. Had more of a variety. Food and value was good.

Great, inexpensive food! I'm so glad we stopped there. This was our first plate lunch. We had the garlic shrimp and the garlic ahi, and they were yummy. We'll definitely go back if given the chance.

I love pulled pork, and my aha moment came when I realized that these Hawaiians know their pig. Inexpensive option is the pulled pork sandwich, and drive about 1/4 south to the Park. Once you're at the park there are pic nick benches where we just sat and looked out at another incredible scene. Great reasonably priced food.

To see this place might make you nervous about trying it, Go for It! This little shack provided us with one of our best meals while in Oahu for 7 days and did that for under $20!!! They have the best Fish Tacos we have ever had and you are doing an injustice not to try their incredible garlic fries.... More

this place is amazing!! I had the mahi mahi and my other half had the pulled pork. Best pulled pork and best mahi mahi (in my opinion) on the island. The prices are extremely low and they pile you up with sides and food. I almost never get full and i could not finish my plate. The rice is good... More

We had heard Hawaii is very expensive. When we rolled into this little place tucked away down a side street, we could not believe our eyes. Authentic Hawaiian food from authentic natives and unbelievably reasonable prices. Can't recommend this place enough!

We had just finished up at Hanauma Bay, and found this little place on Yelp. It had really good reviews so we decided to give the place a try even though it was a little out of the ways drive. It was a nice and clean place and the staff was really friendly. We decided to try the Steak Plate,... More
