As this place has gained in popularity, the taste and quality has gone down. Yes you get large portions but food was bland and overlooked. One order never made it out and we had to fight the crowds to get what we paid for.

Lunch time and passing through the area. Stopped here because there was a line, which had to mean that it was either great food or a bargain. It was the latter. For the $8 plate lunch special, you get one choice of protein, which in my case was 3 large bbq chicken thighs, choice of rice or french fries, green... More

We were advised by the owner of our vacation rental to get our lunch here and to eat it on a beach close by. So we did!. The place itself is really old but that is also a bit the fun of it. The lunch was freshly made and was absolutely ok for the money paid for. Go there for... More

The food is average, the dining room atmosphere is the worst, but their shave ice is excellent. Their dining room is dirty with old furniture and the walls are covered with kooky religious sayings.

This roadside place with outdoor and enclosed- but- openair seating, has a very large menu and the food is great. There were 5 of us eating and we all had something different and all agreed it was really good. Coming from Waikiki, it was a bargain also. The staff was very friendly. Our only complaint was that because it was... More

After snorkeling and driving all day my crew was starved when we hit Waimanalo and this was one of the first places we saw when looking online for a place to eat. It's not fancy and the outside dining areas leave something to be desired. However we had really good pulled pork, fries were very good, the fish and shrimp... More

When we want something quick, Keneke's is just a few minute walk from our condo. They are quick in serving, give decent size portions (sometimes one portion is enough for 2 people), and they are friendly. The food is pretty good, and you can do take out. Give them a try, you'll go back for seconds.

We were starving, as we drove around the island after snorkeling at Hanauma Bay. Wanted to find a good local place that had lots of cars. That's usually a sign that the food is good. For less than $9, you can get a good dish. We ordered 2 chicken teriyakis. The only mistake we made is that they give you... More

Stopped here on the way to the north shore for a quick lunch. Food was good. Had Kahlua pork, rice and mac salad. Portions were good and a fairly good value especially for Hawaii. Would go again if we were in the area.

Stopped here after a day on the beach and got great big shave ice ups for the whole family. So yummy!
