Surprisingly great food for great price

On our way to north shore we stopped here for breakfast. I've found usually if you see where the local cops eat you find great food. We saw the local pd there (who were very friendly) and so decided to try it out. This I a family owned very Hawaiian small restaurant. The people were friendly and... read more

This was my first time at this simple restaurant located right next to the Wahiawa baseball fields. We were there for a late lunch. The fried rice special (big portion of fried rice, 2 eggs to order, and breakfast meat) was a great bargain. We got bacon as part of our special and it wasn't supermarket bacon. It was real-deal,... My co-workers and I stopped here for lunch one day and we all ordered the hamburger steak plate and we all said how terrible it was. The burgers have so much filling in them, I don't think you could actually classify them as burgers any more. None of us are going back again.

My husband and I were on the way to Honolulu from the North Shore looking for a breakfast spot and ran across this place. Not much to look at, but definitely worth stopping at. Total hole in the wall where the locals eat and with good reason. The food was fantastic. We both got eggs over easy. I got hash... More

Great tasting pies and very flakey crust. You can buy slices just to try the other pies. So far all the pies are delicious and the prices are very reasonable.

The peach pie is a must. I love their chocolate cream pie, so delicious! The crust is light and flaky and made every morning. You must order ahead of time or go early. They open early for breakfast and lunch and close around 2pm. The fried rice omelet is good too. I would recommend this place if you're heading to... More

Been eating there for 30 years. Nothing on the menu is bad. Especially like the sweet sour spareribs & Korean plate. Grandkids love the Fried Rice Special. I always buy a whole delicious pie to go, usually a double crusted Pear-peach or Chocolate Cream. Workers are very courteous. Food arrives quickly.

You will not find glamor here but the food is good and the pies are wonderful. They take cash only...no charge. You go up and order your food and bring it back to the table to eat. They are known for their chocolate cream pies...non refrigerated. Kinda like a boston cream pie. Also worth eating is the pear and peach... More

I gotta tell you the fried rice special in ono. I recommend this place for anyone who is in Wahiawa passing through, it will be the surprise of your day I guarantee it. I can't say anything bad about the place.
