Fresh sashimi, variety of special rolls

I don't live in this neighborhood but had lunch with a business colleague one weekday during a break in work in that part of the island. The restaurant features the Kaiten style (conveyer belt), as well as bentos and made to order special sushi rolls. I would have sampled more off the conveyor but... read more

This place is better then Genki, but that's not saying much because Genki is on the lower end of sushi restaurant. So if eating at Genki is like eating at McDonalds, the eating at Kazoku is like eating at Teddy's Bigger Burgers. I hope that analogy puts things into perspective. The set-up is similar to Genki with the conveyor belt... More

Good food, tasty, decent price for sushi, around $10 per roll, and a very comfortable and clean diner. It has a conveyor which want operating when we went, but did other times I guess. We were greeted almost immediately, got our drinks quickly and had menus and recommendations offered. The food came quickly, was done well, and was deliciously fresh.... More

Our first visit to a conveyor belt sushi place - and now we're big fans! We had a little coaching from the staff, and a big help from a couple in the booth next to us. Sampling via the price-color-coded plates on the conveyor was a fun way to explore new delights. The prices seemed fair and watching the chefs... More

Wonderful - some of the best sushi I have had. Incredibly fresh, and a very nice vaiety of unique house rolls. Also, they have a nice hot menu as well. Atmosphere is very basic. In a strip mall. Most seating around a converyer belt sushi bar. We will definitely return.

This place has a conveyor of sushi around the restaurant with plates colour coded and priced based on the colours. Portion size wasn't huge but was reasonable. The lemon drop roll was interesting and refreshing and the baconator roll is perfect for all the bacon lovers. We were there fairly early (slightly before 6) so it wasn't super busy for... More

My wife and I made the mistake of ordering Bento boxes (chicken and salmon teriyaki) at Kazoku. We also had some of the sushi from the conveyor belt. The teriyaki was super sweet. It was like caramel pasted. The red dragon roll from the conveyor belt was OK as were some other pieces of sushi. Overall, it was not a... More

Totally love eating here!!! Service is always excellent, kinda small but the food is way worth it. Gotta get there early cause there's always a line of people waiting. Love eating their Red Dragon Roll, Tiger Roll, and Lemon drop Roll!!! I have never found any sushi that can compare to Kazoku sushi. We moved and it broke my heart... More

I was skeptical about "conveyer belt" sushi establishments. Some reviews for places are scary. But Kazoku was awesome and I'm glad we gave it a try. The chefs make it right in front of you so you know it's fresh. My husband ate only from the belt where as I ordered the Philly roll and the spicy tuna roll. Delicious!... More

Terribly over priced and the sushi train is running cold. Food was not very fresh and service was poor.
