Start by saying, I don't like giving bad reviews. But when the food makes your family sick, the public needs to know. This was my first time at loco moco so we tried a variety of dishes from seafood to BBQ. Very disappointed with mochiko chicken. Was over cooked and very chewy. Like it sat too long. My 2 year... Stopped to get the loco moco. The cashier was very friendly and helpful. I will have to say that this is not the best loco I have had but it was well done. The meat and gravy were really good. The fried rice was not as good. It wasn't bad but had no spam or sausage in it and wasn't... More

Good place for a locals breakfast. Not a place I would eat everyday but I'm glad we tried it. Friendly service and great prices. A pleasant break from the overpriced resort fare.

Loco-Moco is another local fast-food kind of place that is really popular with local people who just want a value deal for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Heavy on the starch, but...good flavor. Try the local favorite: Loco-Moco. It was invented in Hilo and spread everywhere. It's a bed of steamed rice, then add a hamburger patty, egg--any style, covered with... More

My husband had a BBQ burger with their homemade BBQ sauce and I had a cheeseburger and fries. The burger tasted like In N Out. Friendly service, tasty food and great prices.

My husband loves to eat Loco Moco when we are in Hawaii. This tiny shop is in a strip mall near Safeway. One order of Loco Moco was just huge. I ordered a mushroom omelette which was fresh and not canned mushrooms. The service was quick and friendly. Good tasting food, quick service and amazing prices!

After reading the reviews on Tripadvisor, we decided to give Loco Moco Drive Inn a try. We shared a mixed plate and garlic fries. The chicken seemed to be just fried skin, kinda strange, fish was ok, beef was tough. Garlic fried gave me heart burn. Price was cheap and the portion size was enough for two.

I grew up in Makakilo/Kapolei and Loco Moco in the Kapolei shopping center has been around for a really long time. It has a very family operated feeling to it. More importantly, the food is absolutely delicious and hasn't changed throughout the years. I've since moved away from Hawaii but every time I go home, it's an absolute MUST visit.... More

Plate lunch food style in a strip mall with about 6 tables inside. Nothing fancy inside, almost a hole in the wall type of place but WOW the food is great and in large portions! A plate of Katsu chicken $8 and a BBQ mixed plate $9 fed all five of us. (2 adults, 12 yr old, 9 yr old,... More
