Loved the Kapolei site so much, tried the new Thai Lao in Pearl City

Thai Lao in both locations is fantastic. Their new restaurant in Pearl City is near the Leeward Bowl (across the street). It is very good and service was excellent. There is a main room and a separate party room for larger groups. Loved their panang curry. Pad Thai was great. They had mango... read more

The menu includes spring/summer rolls, seafood, salads, rice and noodles. If you are familiar with Southeast Asian cuisine, this restaurant will not disappoint. The dining room is home to 12 tables and configuration is open to accommodate large parties if necessary. The restaurant staff is attentive and the quality of product is exceptional. I have a friend who drives from... More

We were craving for Thai food, so looked up on google, found this restaurant very closed to us, so we wanted to try, ordered spicy fried tofu rice, and our fav tom yum soup, it was very good, very tasty, pricy, but considering that is HAWAII, not to bad. Customer service was great. So if u visit Oahu, Hawaii, do... More

I haven't been a fan of Thai food in Hawaii and this is why I gave it a five star. It is pretty difficult to beat Thai food in Thailand when you compare cost in the equation, but one of the better Thai meals I've had. It's pretty close to the theaters if you are near Kapolei and the shopping... More

This was the closest Thai to home so we frequently visited. Very friendly service, but can be somewhat slow when busy. Restaurant needs some TLC on the interior. The spicy Tom Yum soup was my wife's favorite. Food is good quality and taste at a decent price. You must ask if you want extra spice. I recommend this venue for... More

Closest to the house, decent tasting, non-chain Thai food. When don't want to cook after a hard day's work, this place fits the bill. I'm always a sucker for good rare beef salad (sometimes known as long rice salad). This place makes it close to what I remember from my travels. Wife always gets the standard Pad Thai with shrimp,... Recently visited Kapolei while staying in Ko Olina Beach Club and wanted some Thai food. Thai Lao had some great reviews so decided to give it a try. Place is very nice and clean. Food was authentic, but I was looking for some specific Thai dishes that I had experienced while and Thailand and they did not offer them. Service... More

Grabbed a quick lunch here 2 days ago. There was lots to choose from and I had the beef in oyster sauce and my boyfriend had shrimp in mixed vegetables. Two standard dishes and the taste was also relatively standard. The shrimp was a bit bland but the beef was nice and tasty. I enjoyed my meal and the price... More

The Pearl City location has been open for about one month. Very clean, newly renovated with a friendly staff. Food was super. Wife had Sea Food Curry and I had Pad kea mao (drunken noodles) and we shared a Green Papaya Salad. We ordered spicy and was not disappointed! Going back soon with another couple who shares our fondness for... More

Nothing fancy, but really wonderful food, and a great menu. If staying in the area, I would highly recommend.
