Ono food. If you ask for Thai hot.. be prepared.. it's brutal and very good. The prices are expensive compared to other Thai restaurants, but definitely worth it. My son loves their fried chicken and stuffed chicken wings appetizers. All the curries are very good.. love their panang curry with sticky rice. Service is good, but if it is busy... More

Fabulous flavor, great prices, large portions, family owned...priceless! The pad thai, drunken noodles, and pad se-ew were all amazing. They serve the drinken noodles "medium spice" unless you want more or less spice. Just a warning, I thought medium was hotter than most places, so you might want to go less and add more if you need it. I would... More

Staying at Disney hotel and wanted to pick up food to enjoy in our room. Chicken satay with peanut sauce and yellow curry chicken were our favorites. A tasty meal.

I eat Thai food at least once a week back at home and I consider my favorite restaurant to be fairly authentic. The problem is once you eat at Thai Lao you will never think any of Thai you've had in the US is authentic. Yes, it's in a strip mall. Ignore that part. The food rocks. Seriously outstanding and... Pad Thai and Pad Ki-Mao are excellent. Friendly staff provides a variety of great food. The menu prices are a bargain compared to other nearby eateries. Will definitely return next time I travel to Oahu.

This place has good reviews on both TA and yelp, so we decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint. The place was packed when we got there. I like the atmosphere, it's lively and bright, but not too bright. Most importantly, the food was excellent. Service was also good, no nonsense. We will return.

Four of us enjoyed our meal at Thai Lao. We made a reservation and our table was ready upon our arrival. It is a hole in the wall restaurant in a strip mall and always croweded. Half the restaurant was filled with Thai and Chinese clients so you know it had to be good. The food was cooked to order... More

We tried the papaya salad with shrimp as an appetizer. Outstanding choice! We will return to this restaurant & include the papaya salad in future visits. Their crispy chicken as well as their yellow curry was excellent.

I knew from the aroma the minute we opened the door that the food was going to be delicious....and it was! We ordered Summer rolls, sweet and sour pork and shrimp pad Thai. The Summer rolls were just okay, but the other two scrumptious! Very reasonable costs. Small restaurant with an active take-out business, also. Service a drop slow.

Based on the positive reviews of Thai Lao, we tried it on the 2nd night we were in Oahu. We were staying in nearby Ko olina so it was convenient. The restaurant is small with one long table in the middle that fit about 16 people. They then had 3 smaller tables on each side fitting 4 people at each... More
