We were excited to try this Thai place out. It did not disappoint. Food was good, service was friendly, and I was happy that I got my craving satisfied. The only negative thing about this place is that it is tiny - there are so many tables, that people are pushed together and really cramped. Otherwise, this is a great... More

Kapolei finally has a good Thai restaurant. 7 of us walked in for dinner and took the last seats. We ate the Tom Yum which was perfectly seasoned. The Red Curry was spot on. Pad Thai was satisfactory. And the Papaya Salad was spicy and tasty but be careful "medium" will burn up the hardest of tongues. As usual, the... More

Ono food. If you ask for Thai hot.. be prepared.. it's brutal and very good. The prices are expensive compared to other Thai restaurants, but definitely worth it. My son loves their fried chicken and stuffed chicken wings appetizers. All the curries are very good.. love their panang curry with sticky rice. Service is good, but if it is busy... More

Fabulous flavor, great prices, large portions, family owned...priceless! The pad thai, drunken noodles, and pad se-ew were all amazing. They serve the drinken noodles "medium spice" unless you want more or less spice. Just a warning, I thought medium was hotter than most places, so you might want to go less and add more if you need it. I would... More

Staying at Disney hotel and wanted to pick up food to enjoy in our room. Chicken satay with peanut sauce and yellow curry chicken were our favorites. A tasty meal.

I eat Thai food at least once a week back at home and I consider my favorite restaurant to be fairly authentic. The problem is once you eat at Thai Lao you will never think any of Thai you've had in the US is authentic. Yes, it's in a strip mall. Ignore that part. The food rocks. Seriously outstanding and... Pad Thai and Pad Ki-Mao are excellent. Friendly staff provides a variety of great food. The menu prices are a bargain compared to other nearby eateries. Will definitely return next time I travel to Oahu.

This place has good reviews on both TA and yelp, so we decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint. The place was packed when we got there. I like the atmosphere, it's lively and bright, but not too bright. Most importantly, the food was excellent. Service was also good, no nonsense. We will return.
