Fun and lots of food.

Great time, we'll organized, very good entertainment. There was a lot of food with some authentic Hawaiian dishes. If you buy one of their mugs at the gift shop your 3 drink tickets go a lot further. The food was bad. Said it was on beach. It was not. At least no where near the surf. Sat on hard benches. Some entertainment was good but most not. They even messed up the Hawaiian wedding song. The worst was the annoying guide. Considered taking a taxi back to the hotel. Not worth the time.

Reviewers below have given good overviews of the food, show and location. We drove and arrived early. We had great seats as our picnic table was near the front. It was a very hot and humid evening and there were many choices available for watery and oversweetened drinks. Beer was also available and after the first cocktail I switched to... More

This seemed like the orginal Luau. The staff kept you entertained and informed on the ride. It was very interesting to watch them remove the pig from the ground and get it ready for us to eat. The entertainment was very good and the kept the audience involved.

I was really looking forward to having an authentic experience, but this felt contrived. We were ushered to a distant location and herded through the motions. We were given a lei upon arrival (a shell necklace) and the luau pig-Imu was about 10 minutes. The food was mediocre, but the entertainers were pretty good.

Ok entertainment, many of the dancers fabulous but some not very believable and one seemed to make a joke of everything. Food not anything special, chocolate cake best part! Our bus tour guide Travis was really fabulous and, seemed to really enjoy his job!

Just getting back from Germaine's Luau. The food was very good and the dancers were very talented. However it was way too long. They do not start the show until everyone has eaten, and they spend more than half of the time on stage having guests dress up and try to luau. If they only had the dancers perform and... More

After attending a Luau at our hotel in Maui, Germaines barley compared, the food was ok and the entertainment was good however for the price we expected more, it felt more like we were eating in a school cafeteria... The cutlery and plates were disposable... Would expect a bit more since we paid almost $100 each. The guide we had... More

My first luau so maybe expected something else.... But we learned on the bus over wiki wiki means quick as it is first come first serve for seats & if your bus is last.... Good luck sitting with a group of friends. The pork was good - everything else was average. Show was very good & the bus chaperone on... More

You've got to do a luau on vacation, right? This one was recommended for a few reasons... open air, on the beach, the sunset, fresh air, alcoholic beverages served. (Well... they are tasty and large, but not really very alcoholic. Almost no effect at all!) The food is buffet style and the pig is good, as is the fish and... More
