Adult daughter wanted to have Hawaiian bbq before completing vacation. Staff member at the Marriott Ko olina Vacation Club suggested this restaurant when asked about local bbq restaurant. Small, clean restaurant. Food choice ordered at the counter and served when ready. 2 people in party ordered a combination dinner and 1 ordered salmon. Portion size of salmon was large and... More

We walked here one night for a break from hotel food. It cost more than a similar place would on the mainland but I had the pineapple chicken and I thought it was good. A bit to sweet for my wife but it still was a nice break and we saved money over a $100 resort dinner for a night.

Mom got orange chicken- she hated it. Mac salad was mushy and tasteless, might as well eat a cup of mayonnaise. I ordered the grilled shrimp and mahi-mahi-if it wasn't swimming In a Half a cup of oil and grease, might have been ok. Husband ordered the BBQ- he said chicken was good but Mac salad was horrid, ribs ok,... More

The food is served in Styrofoam, more fast food Asian style than Hawaiian, chicken served chewy, combination meal had 2 choices, lots of rice. Not really what we expected, and I don't know where the BBQ in the name comes from...

The food here was okay. The atmosphere was a bit weird. It was a bit more of a fast chinese joint than a Hawaiian BBQ.

This little establishment is located across the street from The JW Marriott and Aulani Resort where we were staying. We ordered take-out here during this visit and we had also patronized this location when we were at Aulani in 2012. At that time, it was a Chinese Restaurant. It is still geared toward take-out. There are 7 or 8 booths,... More

It was right across the street from the Disney Aulani. The prices were reasonable. The counter service was quick. The food was a tasty version of Hawaiian bar-be-cue.

The ko olina Hawaiian bar-b-que is across the street from the Marriot Resort. We had the chicken, teriyaki beef, and pork. Included was 2 scoops of rice and macaroni salad. The food was excellent. We especially liked the chicken. It tasted great and the rice was some of the best we have ever tasted. The place is not very big.... More

Walked in by chance with wife on vacation. Not a fancy place, small almost hole in the wall feel to it. The cashier was very friendly down to earth person, the menu was set up with a Chinese take out feel to it. Defiantly not a mainland type bbq joint. But ... The food is great, portions are decent, price... More

Our family of five ventured into this restaurant to sample the local food. They have a wide variety of choices, all freshly prepared. Some of the platters can be ordered in smaller portions which suited one of our family members just perfectly. Everyone agreed the food was excellent! The combination of BBQ chicken, shortribs and teryaki steak is tops. All tender... More
