Best Banana Pancakes

My mom is always in search of banana pancakes when we are in Hawaii. Once my dad paid $50 for breakfast at the Grand Waleia because she needed her pancakes. This time we went to Koa because it was recommended to us by the man at the front desk of our hotel. Both of my parents had pancakes and... read more

We were in ko'oalina for a week and had breakfast here 4 times. Ended up sharing an omelet and pancakes most of the time. Portions are generous. Fried rice was delicious and macadamia nut and chocolate chip pancakes were both really good. Loved the coconut syrup.

I have not eaten at this restaurant for 30 years, but the quality is still there. The service is good. There are equal numbers of folks eating in and taking out. I had eggs Florentine: the poached eggs were perfect, and the spinach was fresh. My son had corned beef hash and eggs with a side of kalbi. I tasted... More

We found this place through Yelp. We wanted breakfast and the pancakes looked appealing. We got here at 8:30am and the place was packed. They do have three additional tables outside as well. They pancakes were yummy. The rest of the food were not bad. Most of all, the price is very affordable.

This place can be pretty crowded in the morning. Oh well, I really like their pancakes. My family of 4 can get a fantastic amount of food for around $35. This place is an affordable restaurant to take my family.

My family and I ate here for breakfast. It was super busy, loud and crowded. We all thought the food was terrible and we had upset stomachs after the meal.

Good food and fairly cheap and fast. Lots of variety to choose from but seating is tight. Service quick . Not beautiful surroundings but clean and wholesome!

This place is fine for pancakes, though better pancakes can be found elsewhere on Oahu. The other food (we had eggs and ham) was greasy....like leaving puddles on our plates greasy, and yes, I know it's Hawaii, but as I was eating, I saw a roach crawling next to our table. I'm not planning on returning...I'd rather hit up Egg... More

I had the eggs with a side of bacon as well as the Belgium waffle...it was tasty. Quick service and good prices. I like this spot a day recommend trying it over a chain

If you are totally anti-chain restaurants, this place is pretty good for breakfast. The Denny's down the road has better service and more food options though. My friends like this place because it is more of a local flavor to it that a chain Denny's. For me, pancakes are fine no matter where they are made, as long as they... More
