This is a large, straightforward Chinese restaurant with excellent food. Nearly everything we tried from Kin Wah's huge menu was enjoyable -- and we tried a _lot_ as my friends wanted me to taste numerous things. My favorites were the crispy gau gee and the steamed fish filet with ginger and green onion. The only thing I didn't really like... More

Kin Wah is one of my favorite Chinese food eateries. It's got a large capacity dining room with traditional decor and serving utensils. It's almost always very busy, but the crowd of workers behind the counter are very efficient and friendly and will make sure they take care of you. They have a very long menu covering soup, chop suey,... More

The good is great, the service is quick, the people are usually friendly, and the prices are reasonable. Getting double Hawaiian Airline miles is a perk. It doesn't matter what you order, because everything they serve tastes great. Our absolute go to dishes are the chicken salad, minute chicken cake noodle, fried gau gee, sweet sour spareribs, Peking duck n... More

Nestled away in a strip mall that includes a gas stop, and two other local restaurants, Kin Wah is the best place to enjoy Chinese food on the Windward side of Kaneohe. Staff is friendly and the food is great. They know many of their customers by first name. Try the Sizzling stuff tofu, or stuffed chicken wings, our everyone's... More

This is the best Chinese restaurant as far as we're concerned. We went there for dinner to celebrate our 53rd anniversary (we did nor tell them that). I asked my wife to pick out a place for this event, and she chose Kin Wah. We go there a couple of times a month. They have a very extensive menu and... More

We have Been going there for year, love the food, people, & service! They have casual take out and their special party menu has lots of fancier dishes.

We used to eat here a LOT ...UNTIL a big rain leaked through the roof there. I went to meet an employee there when they had to close ( a CL sale thing)and saw the condition of the kitchen--NOT clean. Have been afraid to eat here EVER since! I do not know if it has been cleaned up since but... More

Kin Wah's sizzling pot-roast pork is one of the tastiest and most satisfying dishes on O'ahu. With a side order of Bok Choi and one of the wonderful noodle dishes, you'll have a perfect meal.

We have been frequenting this place for 30 years. Same friendly and fast service and management. Clean tables and booths. Love the shrimp wonton soup, the fried gau gee, the duck and the fried rice. The portions are so you have left overs. It's fun to watch how the wontons and gau gees are made right in the middle of... More
