Korean at its tastiest

They give so much food & so tasty! We've been to the different Kim Chee restaurants, but this is the very first one. This place will not disappoint. The price is reasonable and it feels like eating at home. The service was good considering it had about 12 booths & only 2 servers. They are very... read more

We love mandoo! This place never disappoints! Service is great! And the mandoo... It really is the best mandoo in town! The shrimp tempura is also a favorite! There's so much to choose from on the menu, you're guaranteed to find something to delight everyone in the family. If you're ever in the mood for Korean mandoo, Kim Chee (in... More

This is my go to Korean food restaurant in Hawaii. My favorite dishes there are the Meat Jun, Kal Bi and their shrimp tempura. All entrees come with miso soup, kim chee and daikon. Your meal also comes with a selection of pickled bean sprouts and vegetables. If you go for lunch they have a $9.99 special that you can... More

You won't be disappointed at Kim Chee. The kalbi is fantastic and enough for 2 people. Chicken katsu, homemade Kim Chee, lots of carbs, fat and salt. Yummy.

We have had quite a bit of good luck with "hole-in-the-wall" dives in Hawaii and so we had had high hopes for Kim Chee 1. Well, we were disappointed. First, it's supposed to be a Korean restaurant, but at least 80% of the menu times were Japanese. But since we came for Korean, we ordered typical traditional Korean dishes. I... More

My family loves the family packs that include meat jun, chicken, kal bi, all the veggies. My kids also love the chicken katsu. Everyone is happy when we go here. Parking is a problem so we usually order our food to go.

Wish they were located in my home town! This was my favorite restaurant of all during this week long stay in Hawaii. The food is very authentic and you can't find more friendly service!
