Perfect Christmas Eve feast

It's odd to be away from home during a holiday in which food is central to the celebration. I received a restaurant recommendation from a local while walking the beach earlier in our stay. Haleiwa Joe's is the best "Higher End" restaurant in Kaneohe. Compared to Kailua Kaneohe does not have many restruants that stay open other than Zippy's, Denny's or Ruby Tuesday's. Try to come early as they do not take reservations, so if your coming give yourself ample time for the wait. One activity you can conduct while your wait is to... More

We've been bringing friends and family here for 24 years. (When it was the Chart House). The staff is courteous and knowledgeable. Wonderful food at reasonable prices in a lush, tropical setting. One of my favorites!

We heard many positive reviews on this place so we set aside some time to eat here. The garden was beautiful, tropical and very cool to explore and take pictures. The reviews I read talked about how good the prime rib was so that's what I ordered. OMG!!! The prime rib that I got was humongous. It didn't look special... More

Our top pick for the northshore. Sitting out in their lanai at sunset with tiki torches lit and the ocean view was just fantastic. Their menu is fairly broad offering small and large plate dinners. I tried their Fresh Ahi and it was so tender and superb tasting. The cerviche is also very tasty. Service and staff friendliness was unbeatable... More

We came here twice on our trip, first to drink and liked the atmosphere so much we came back for dinner on our last night of the trip and we are so glad we did!! The food was amazing and they had the best fish we tasted while in Hawaii!!

First come first serve! But it is worth it! Very casual setting, beautiful garden below... might even get to see a wedding! The food is delicious, if you want the prime rib, need to get here early because it might be all gone if you arrive a little later...

We were a party of 8 (4 young kids included) and went on a Saturday night. Make sure to get there 30-60 minutes before sunset to enjoy the gardens. Parking can be a bit hairy but don't let that dissuade you. Also, if you get there early, they usually still have the prime rib, which is by far the biggest... More

Driving to the north shore we have stopped here to eat two times. We had great food and drinks both times. Try to get a table outside overlooking the ocean, it's beautiful. Get your drink in a souvenir glass for only $5.00. Pretty inexpensive for Hawaii and a fun momento. Table of four and we all enjoyed our meals. Fresh... More
