We came here the first night and it was PACKED. We had to wait for nearly an hour for a table and once we got one, it was smack dab, front and center, beautiful view! We were watching earlier as plate after plate of HUGE prime ribs were being carted from the kitchen and were hoping to order that. Alas,... More

While traveling back to Hickam after a beach day and shopping my friends and I were in the mood for seafood. Google pointed us in the direction of this treasure. The open air restaurant was so inviting and beautiful. We had about a 25 minute wait but luckily for us it was happy hour so we enjoyed some drinks and... More

Ate supper here with family. The view off the balcony of the gardens, pond and mountain are stunning. The scene calls to mind archetypal images of exotic south seas scenery. The garden and pavilion area below and behind the restaurant is worth a walk through, so bring a camera. I had a chipotle glazed pork chop. Not bad, the chop... More

Even on a rainy day, this was a gorgeous view. Service was good. I was tempted by the prime rib, but thought, "oh, I'm in Hawaii, I should get seafood!". But someone else got it and we all shared. It was the biggest prime rib I've seen in my life and it was perfectly prepared. Highly recommend.

Beautiful restaurant with great food overlooking a gorgeous Hawaiian garden. The prime rib is the biggest we have ever seen. After dinner it is very pleasant to wander around the garden, look at the koi and turtles in the pond, and walk among the beautiful plants.

One of the best places I've been for both fish and steak. The food was excellent and the service as well. My companion had the prime rib - be prepared to take some home as the portion was 24 ounces with bone in. So very tender and served the traditional way. The moon fish with wasabi sauce was delish!! The... More

What a wonderful place, was recommended to us by locals at the hotel we were staying at on our planned tour of Oahu. Note: this place does not take reservations, so we had to wait, and there was a line, but with the spectacular view of the Bay ... I have read mixed reviews of the Caesar salad, however I... More

Beautiful view, great food, reasonable prices, outstanding waiter. Restaurant was recommended by our hotel and we liked it so much that we went back again two nights later. I wish we had a restaurant like this at home.

This restaurant was in a guidebook we were using, so we went (go early -- which usually isn't a problem if you are on mainland time). Wow! Beautiful gardens (try to sit by the railing), great service (largest percentage tip I have ever given - super nice and attentive server named Jacob), and wonderful fish. There were five of us,... My husband and I visited our nephew on Oahu and he suggested Haleiwa Joe's for our first night out. This was the best idea! The restaurant is a bit hidden and it's like entering a tropical paradise once you find it. We didn't have a reservation and needed to be seated before we could stroll the gardens. Luckily our table... More
