After hearing all the rave reviews for this restaurant from my family here, I was excited to try it. I felt the food was average at best. I have had some very good Chinese food in the International District of Seattle and that is the standard I set the bar at and this fell short. Portions were small, food was... More

It was our first time and we were celebrating a new job. I pre-ordered and everyone (there were 9 of us) LOVED the food. The eggplant with pork, pork chops (which is really sliced, breaded, fried small pieces of pork but not thick), and sizzling peppered beef were our favorites. I ordered enough for 14 people (because there were 3... More

The chef and owner, Raymond, uses fresh local produce and healthy alternatives to traditional Chinese cooking. Try the shrimp with walnuts, house noodles, lettuce wraps, mu shu pork, spinach salad with ka'u oranges, scallops with fried spinach - so many choices, and save room for desserts. He's always experimenting with something new. With a large party we order the dessert... More

I have been going here since Raymond, his brother, and their families took over the restaurant from the "old" owners. While appearances say Chinese restaurant: it is unlike any other Chinese restaurant on Oahu. Warning: save room for dessert. The soy milk custard (actually soy milk panna cotta) is sublime. There are usually 2-3 desserts that are not on the... More

My wife and I have have been going to Pah Ke's since it opened 15 years ago. The food is outstanding. (Even our friends from China rave about it!). Service is excellent. A typical family style Chinese atmosphere. With some exotic dishes. Try the "Mu Shu Pizza" or "Chinese Nachos" or "Barbecued Baby Back Ribs with Hoysin sauce" Save room... More

Pah Ke's has some of the best food on Oahu, but you need to understand the place. Raymond is a great chef, but his menu is primarily "comfort food," as he calls it -- what local folks have grown up with and enjoy. If you call and ask him to prepare a special meal for you (about $40 per person)... More

I ate here on recommendation of my B&B owners. Hong Kong style primarily, but there are some Cantonese and Mandarin dishes as well. Prompt seating, even though they were hosted 3 birthday groups at the time I was there (dinner on a Saturday night). Friendly service; the owner/manager came by several times to make sure everything was alright. Food was... More

Im a local resident and took a friend visiting from the mainland to dine here. First off the restaurant wasnt full at all, that should have been our first clue why they weren't busy. Our server was anything but welcoming. She wasn't eager to help us, her tone of voice was real sharp, real rough in her dealings w us.... More

I had heard all of the reviews from friends and others, so I was expecting an excellent dining experience at Pah Ke's. We decided to do take out, so we ordered a few dishes to go. Now I'm very familiar with Cantonese food with a local touch, so I ordered the usual dishes we've sampled from all over for a... More

We love staying in Kaneohe when we visit Oahu. The beautiful Ko'olau Mountain range is always in sight and we're not that far from Kailua Beach Park. As soon as we arrive we usually go to Pah Ke, our favorite Chinese restaurant in Kaneohe. It's not fast food, it's a sit-down, drink tea, talk and enjoy a leisurely lunch or... More
