We live in Hawaii and when our kids come home to visit, this is a must place to go. They love the Kal bi and the barbque chicken. The salad bar is like none you have ever seen. My husband and I like to order a bbq dish and the Chop Chae to share. Mahi Jun is good and so... More

I visited Kim Cheese on April 15 with a Life Group from Hope Chapel Olomana as I was hanging out with the Pastor. The location is in a shopping center, but once you go in the decor is amazing. The waitress was amazing and very helpful. The food was the best Korean I've had out side of South Korea. The... More

One of the best! All locations are great, but this was a once a week stop when living in Kailua! Everything is good here!

My boyfriend and I found this place on trip advisor and decided to try it out. We had the BBQ beef and Butterfish soup. Each meal comes with the buffet (rice, Kim Chee, and other salads). The portions are large (especially the soup) and our server even gave us free cake to celebrate the New Year! It is located in... More

Had the bbq meat special dinner which came with a vegetable bar which is like a salad bar, only better! The bbq was very good also. Prices are reasonable, similar to what you would pay in Las Vegas. Great place to eat in Kailua!

My husband and I love this place. We first went there when we were going for pizza and were told it was an hour wait. What??? So, we went a few doors down to Kim Chee Restaurant and what a treat! The food was fabulous! They have the hostess with the mostest -- She has such a charming personality that... More

This was one of the best meals we had in Hawaii. We went here for lunch and while we aren't usually buffet fans, this was an exception. We loved the ability to try so many different Korean foods to include going back for seconds. After having lived in Korea for a bit, this is amazing, authentic food. The service was... More

OK, it's not a big secret, this is a great place to eat for many reasons - fantastic food made fresh to order, husband and wife team that make you fell like family no matter how many times you come in. There is nothing bad on the menu and I am about 80% through it so far. In addition to... More
