Fried rice is great, huge portions, friendly service. My friend ate here when he lived here 25 years ago, still just as good, local food

We were just in Kailua for 6 days, and we went to Times Coffee Shop TWICE for breakfast! This is really just a great, homey place for comfort food. I always like to go to places where the locals go because then you know the food is good. I'd say there are 3/4 locals and 1/4 tourists in the restaurant... More

Reasonably priced and huge servings with excellent service, this coffee shop has been a fixture in Kailua for 40+ years. There are only Good menu items, never have had a poor meal at Times Coffee Shop. The omlettes are wonderful!

You kind of have to know how to get here, because it's a bit off the beaten path. It doesn't get the publicity (Food Network) that some of the more trendy places in this part of the island receive, but this is still my favorite breakfast place on this side of the island. Don't miss the fried rice, but the... More

This place is one of my faves in all of Oahu so far(alongside Da Kitchen in Honolulu and Haleiwa Joe's up north... and the amazing soups and other hot foods @ nearby Whole Foods of Kailua). Locals obviously love this place as much as I do. FRIED RICE: order a half order(it's huge). I don't know what they put in... More

My wife and I visited Times Coffee shop earlier this week in hopes of grabbing something quick but flavorful. we decided to share the favorite fried rice and eggs. I was surprised that the full order was so enormous and enough to feed both my wife and I. I would definitely suggest the fired rice. unfortunately, though there weren't busy,... More

We stopped here after our sunrise photoshoot from the Lanikai Pillbox. We actually stopped at Cinnamon's in Kailua hoping to pick up some takeout since the wait for a table is CRAZY on the weekends. We were disappointed to find out Cinnamon's doesn't do takeout orders on weekends or holidays. So, off we went to Times Coffee Shop on Hamakua... More

This place get's busy on the weekend. They served a very tasty 2 egg breakfast and their banana bread pancakes were delicious. I tried the Vanilla Mac Nut coffee and didn't like it.

I am a local to the Hawaiian Islands (born and raised) and just recently discovered this "diner" recently. The exterior is very off-putting which is why I never bothered to so much taking a second look at this place. However, a family member recently visited this eatery to take advantage of a promotion and loved it! So my family decided... More

This place has moved now, it's opposite the Valley of the Temples in Kaneohe. It's absolute garbage. Horrible, horrible food - what they called chicken seriously was NOT chicken, I suspect it was manflesh - and even the soda machine clearly wasn't working properly, the drinks were rubbish. Don't stop, just keep driving.
