Good Kailua Breakfast

We visited Moke's on busy Saturday morning in Kailua. Get there early. By 9:30 am the wait was 30-35 minutes. But the food was worth the wait. Excellent egg dishes. My wife had the corned beef hash and eggs. I had the chili loco moco, pork chili over eggs over a hamburger patty over a bed of... read more

Family, stationed at the Marine Corps base brought us here for the local Loco Moco breakfast. We had the Chili Moco too ( they were out of the rabbit, mor I would have tried that!) also tried their tasty muffins and biscuits. Huge plates of food, friendly and prompt staff... Very good. We had to wait for a table for an... More

My husband and I went to Moke's Bread and Breakfast at the suggestion of the couple we rented our vacation rental from and we were glad we did. One of the best breakfasts in Kailua. We went several times.

We had a late breakfast that was just OK. I had corned beef hash with hash browns that were crispy but otherwise tasteless and the hash was nothing to write home about. The eggs (poached) were cooked as ordered and the coffee (dark roast) was ok too. Just not as great as made out to be. Good service and outside... More

I ate here after I had tried the highly recommended Cinnamon restaurant for breakfast. I like Moke's much better. The pancakes are fluffy and heavenly. Prices are decent. I seriously recommend the banana pancakes. It was also a very cute place, nice ambiance. When we arrived at 8am on a Friday there was no wait for 2 of us. Perfect... More

Moke's Pancake is the best in Kailua! The lilikoi source is plenty. Pancake itself is fluffy. And I also recommended Lokomoke and biscuits. They are too large for Japanese,so put the remaining food in the box and take it to the beach !

Had breakfast here on one of our days. They open at 7am and the lines start to form right after opening. Go early so you won't have to wait, the wait can be as long as 1 hour. Staff is friendly and food is really good. Their pancakes are out of this world fluffy and delicious.

Great service, food came out quickly and the lilikoi pancakes were unbelievably delicious. Fell in love with lilikoi on this trip, and this place is what did it. Not much else to say, got 2 pancakes and that was plenty. Would absolutely go back if in the area again. Make sure to pay the meters when parking.

We are not big fun of pancakes but Moke's lilicoi pancakes amazingly fascinated us ! The sweet sour flavor is just so perfect for their light pancakes. The service and atmosphere is also nice. This place is highly recommended.
