Their Lilikoi pancakes are to die for. The lilikoi sauce is so unique, but the pancakes themselves were super good too. The service is wonderful and every time we eat there it is a great experience. We made sure to eat there 3 times on our two week vacation, but could've eaten there everyday!

Went to Mokes for lunch at the recomendation of my son who lives in Kailua. Liked it. Good service, good price, and good food. Had the Reuben. Will go back.

I'm always on the lookout for good hash. They do a pretty good job. It is finely chopped. (I prefer a little courser) The resturant is on a cozy side street in downtown. Parking can be challenging at times. I do wish they took Amex cards.

Best breakfast in Kailua!! Out of the three restaurants I've been to anyway. We didn't get there until 10am so we knew we would have to wait. There weren't a lot of people before us, but it seemed like we got there just as every one was looking at their menus. Once we were seated, we enjoyed delicious coffee while... More

It's more like diner food than anything else. It has some traditional Hawaiian breakfast dish(loco mock), other then that it was just average. I did appreciate the lay out of the restaurant, it was small, but open.

Moke's has been serving up fabulous breakfasts for over 10 years or more! Food is always consistent and has great kama'aina service. The only big bummer is that all the tourists have found out about it too..can't we keep anything a secret?

Nobody goes to Boots and Kimo's anymore. It's too crowded. That exactly what is going to happen if Moke's continues to provide a generous delicious breakfast at reasonable prices. The Kona coffee is robust and fresh and ever flowing. Each plate that emerged from the kitchen was ladened with perfectly prepared items. The staff is friendly and attentive. The pancakes... More

I had the vegetable frittata, made with fresh (that day) veggies (today was eggplant, peppers, squash, broccoli and spinach) and jack and goat cheeses. I highly recommend it. If you order pancakes, be prepared to eat a lot, but the lilikoi syrup (which is very generous) is nice. Excellent service, with a number of coffee refills without ever having to... More

Unpretentious locally owned breakfast and lunch place on a side street in Kailua. They do breakfast well. Fresh, not too sweet, good service, albeit a bit impersonal. Breakfast for two was about $27. They bake their own bread. Clean, no wait mid morning. I hear there can be a long wait on the weekend. Bathrooms are outside and around the... More

We chose to eat here based on all the good reviews. The food was excellent with only one complaint...the eggs were way over done for over medium. Their illioki pancakes were delicious as was the coffee. The service wasn't over the top but it wasn't bad at all either. I would definitely go back on Saturday or Sunday since I... More
