Nobody goes to Boots and Kimo's anymore. It's too crowded. That exactly what is going to happen if Moke's continues to provide a generous delicious breakfast at reasonable prices. The Kona coffee is robust and fresh and ever flowing. Each plate that emerged from the kitchen was ladened with perfectly prepared items. The staff is friendly and attentive. The pancakes... More

I had the vegetable frittata, made with fresh (that day) veggies (today was eggplant, peppers, squash, broccoli and spinach) and jack and goat cheeses. I highly recommend it. If you order pancakes, be prepared to eat a lot, but the lilikoi syrup (which is very generous) is nice. Excellent service, with a number of coffee refills without ever having to... More

Unpretentious locally owned breakfast and lunch place on a side street in Kailua. They do breakfast well. Fresh, not too sweet, good service, albeit a bit impersonal. Breakfast for two was about $27. They bake their own bread. Clean, no wait mid morning. I hear there can be a long wait on the weekend. Bathrooms are outside and around the... More

We chose to eat here based on all the good reviews. The food was excellent with only one complaint...the eggs were way over done for over medium. Their illioki pancakes were delicious as was the coffee. The service wasn't over the top but it wasn't bad at all either. I would definitely go back on Saturday or Sunday since I... More

I love all of menus here and especially stuffed hash brown which has choices of ingredients same like as omlett. I always order a slice of toast or something with it. Like French toast and pancake, too!

When in Hawaii, you have to have loco moco at least once and I make a point of doing it every visit. I have had it a few times but this was one of the best! If loco moco isn't for you, don't worry...the rest of the menu is great as well with tons of choices. The restaurant isn't very... More

Hawaii is all about breakfast foods. In Kailua, there's 3 places well known for the morning meal-Boots & Kimo's, Cinnamon's, & Moke's. As with all places, do not go when it's busy, e.g. on the weekends, or during anytime after 8:30 am. (Note: they are closed on Tuesdays.) Go on a weekday, and go early, the earlier the better. I've... More

on our 5 day/4 night trip to oahu, at Turtle Bay, we ate here twice. yes, it was THAT good! we were looking for a tasty place to grub before spending the day at lanikai and Moke's was the answer. standouts: rib eye loco moco - is slapping a tender, fatty piece of rib eye on a plate of loco... More

Visited Moke's Tokyo twice in October to eat with family. There is usually a line to get in, and on both days we waited about 20 minutes to be seated. The restaurant is new and interior is nice. Food: overall very good! -Eggs Benedict were delicious. The scallions added were a nice touch. -Pancakes -were great, the Lilikoi and fruit... More
