Stopped for a late lunch and was it ever worth the wait. Yummy sandwiches and relaxed atmosphere plus the very affordable prices made me glad we looked for Moke's.

The Likikoi pancakes here are excellent and beats their competitors hands down. The short stack fills the plate and the texture is light and fluffy. The llikoi sauce is very decadent but not overly sweet. Service is excellent and my coffee was never empty!
There is always a wait for a table at Mokes but its worth the wait. I enjoyed my frittata which is really sauteed vegetables on top of eggs. Very tasty. Good hash browns. Pancakes are a favorite here especially the lilikoi pancake. Eggs Benedict also good. The smoked ahi tuna melt is my daughter's favorite. Muffins and bread are baked...

Very busy place, we waited 15 minutes for a table, but once seated service was fast and friendly. Food was very good, lots of menu choices and good portions. A very casual place, popular with local families. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Had the pancakes with passion-fruit sauce and the eggs benedict with hash browns. In my week long trip in Hawaii this was the BEST and most memorable meal I had all week. Absolutely delicious.
My spouse loved this place because he likes eggs and hash browns and corned beef but I who prefer lighter and fruit breakfasts was not so impressed. Dealing with my fruit - when they have it it is not bad to order sides - sliced tomatoes, papaya etc but the fruit bowl was awful - apples banana and some herbaceous...

Friendly, efficient service. Everything cooked right and delicious. The in-house corned beef hash was tops, good with fluffy rice and well cooked egg. Biscuit with honey butter, basted egg, and real hash brown potatoes. Folks lined up for breakfast all morning long should tell you this is the place to go for breakfast.
After a morning of hiking we were famished and ready for some breakfast and decided to give Moke's Bread and Breakfast in Kailua a try. The inside was pretty busy but they had outside seating which was perfect and got seated promptly. We had the lilikoi pancakes (short stack), the Moke Nui omelet (bacon, ham, spinach, mushrooms, tomatos, onions and cheese)...

On one of our first days here in Kailua we searched for a breakfast spot and came across Mokes. I had the eggs benedict special and my husband had the pork chop breakfast. Good, filling, and satisfiying. We went back this morning and found that they are closed on Tuesday! ;-(. Will try again tomorrow. :-)
Excellent breakfast and coffee. Had great, polite and prompt service and to top it off the meal was extremely cheap
