We ate there twice. Nice atmosphere, good service, tasty food. Did I mention it's close to Bellows AFS? No pictures of Obama on the walls. If you want pictures of Obama go to Buzz's

A little off the main drag, we found this a nice place for lunch. The place was pretty busy but surprisingly we had the patio to ourselves, which was very pleasant! The bruschetta was enjoyable although different: icy diced tomatoes with fresh basil & garlic on toasted sliced baguette with olive oil. My chicken Caesars salad was icy hearts of... More

A true bistro tucked away in Kailua with a wine list that provided numerous good options either by bottle or glass. As it was Valentines Day, didn't have high expectations for food or service, yet both were good even though it was very busy! House salad deliciously crisp and fresh. Per waitron's suggestion had braised short ribs so tender they... More

I'd like to start off by explaining why I gave Baci Bistro a 4 opposed to a 5. The only reason is because the portions were small. I'm 110 lbs and don't eat much and the plate didn't fill me up, let alone my husband. HOWEVER, it was DELICIOUS! We ordered the lobster ravioli…..it's a must try! We plan to... More

I had some business out in Hawaii and stayed with friends who live in Kailua. They took me here for dinner my first night. They dine there at least once a week and told me that while this place didn't look like much, the food was delicious. I had the special that evening which was butternut squash ravioli. I didn't... Very attentive staff. Great food. Order the lobster ravioli, you won't be disappointed. Also, 25% off on Mondays.

I just arrived home from a dinner with some very old friends and my elderly mother, and felt a review was highly necessary. This is a uniquely decorated hole-in-the-wall restaurant, with a flair for delicious Italian food. However, I was unable to enjoy the ambience or the cuisine thanks to the horrible waitstaff. Our waitress Pat, an older woman herself,... More

Food was good. A little on the expensive side for the portion size. It is a small place so you feel a little closed in. Staff seemed a little distracted at times. Good enough that I would be willing to go again.

in one week. Spent a fantastic week in Kailua (just down the beach from Obamas). Tried Baci Bistro on a recommendation, it was worth it---twice. Had a party of 8 people and everyone enjoyed their meals. Our waitresses both nights were great. The fresh fish and home-made gnocchi were highlights. Reservations a must.

Very personable owner and waitstaff! Had an amazing meal including beef short ribs and truffle gnocchi. Good prices for bottles of wine. Would highly recommend this restaurant!
