"Surprised" because the reviews I read were not representative of our visit. We found this restaurant to be one of our better finds in Kialua. We also found the staff to be friendly, welcoming, well-informed and helpful. The food was excellent, properly spiced, nicely portioned and delivered in a timely fashion. Prices are moderate and reasonable with the most costly... More

Two servers in a 2/3 full room wanting some up-dating. Despite a team effort by the two, service throughout the evening was lagging. Food did not impress. Both the red and green curries had plenty gravy sparsely littered with vegetables and protein. Honey shrimp were medium, butterflied and heavily breaded to appear larger. Alcohol may be self-supplied, and will be... More

We ate here twice while in Kailua and thought it was very good, authentic Thai food. Portions are generous and the food was fresh. Excellent summer rolls. The yellow curry with tofu was very delicious. My daughter, who is not adventurous, loved the chicken fried rice.

Great food and you can bring your own beer or wine! Bring an opener so you don't have to bother the staff. Love the Tom Ka with chicken, love the spring rolls. Get there early parking is extremely limited (4-5 spots) I am a foodie and this is great food. You will have food to go with any meal and... More

For some reason, Thai restaurants have a hard time attracting enough patrons, Champa does not. The reason is simple, the food is authentic and very good, the portions plentiful, the real Thai waitresses are friendly and the local waiters bend over backwards to make you happy. Champa was an all around good experience that is very affordable. If you like... More

We stopped for lunch shortly before closing at 2pm and found this small restaurant in a non description strip mall. We were quickly seated and enjoyed a combo appetizer plate with Thai shrimp toast, egg roll and wonderful peanut chicken satay. My entree was requested to be spicy (not as spicy as I wanted) but the "Indian" style Thai curry... More

I've been here twice in the past few months and it really doesn't impress me.The service is uninspired and food average. I'm sure I'll go back just because it's convenient but it's certainly not memorable.

I was so looking forward to some good Thai food during my weekend on Oahu. Champa was recommended, but my chicken dish was not tasty, lacked the exotic aromas and resembled 3-day old leftovers. The server failed the basic requirement of returning to ask if I needed anything. That said the place was packed, including a large birthday party. Someone... More

Friendly service, BYOB and good for groups. Have been 2-3 times. Good parking and usually no need for reservations

We felt like Thai after a long day of touristing and dropped in here to find it was open. We had great service even though it was close to closing time, and enjoyed our meals, and took leftovers back to our accommodation. Prices at what we expected, and the curry was a little thinner than what we expected. With the... More
