Delicious!

My husband ordered their famous banana pancakes with macadamia sauce and I had an omelette. His pancakes were delicious and my omelette very fresh and filling. Make sure you come early, I'd suggest about 10 minutes before they open. They opened at 7a when we were there and by 7:05 the restaurant... read more

The pancakes were the best I have ever had. It's a small place and if you don get there early the wait can be hours. Cash only. Worth it!

This place has some great food. They have the best portugese sasuage I've had and the bacon is amazing. You would be cheating yourself if you don't have pancakes... The place is small and the wait is really long. Best advice is to call in a togo order and eat at the beach. They only take cash, so be prepared.

Be prepared to wait for 20-30 minutes here. Good is fine, nothing to write home about and prices are slightly higher than average. Set up for tourists, with multi lingual menus and signage. Obviously a popular place for many Japanese tourists. Overall good but not a must go place.

I read several reviews on this place, and not a single one said cash only, so we were surprised when they handed us the check and said "cash only". Good thing my husband is a cash hound, or we would've been washing dishes :) The banana macadamia nut pancakes were great. You get three medium size pancakes. It was about... More

loved the Macadamian nut pancakes even if they were a lil over priced. I guess since there rise to fame over the the Dinners , drives ins and dive episode with Guy Fieri were he puts this place on the map there is no ceiling to what they can charge for there food and the line up out side goes... Get there early to avoid having to wait in a line for 15 minutes or more. This restaurant is famous for its macadamia nut pancakes. Now I make great pancakes. Rarely do I have pancakes in a restaurant that are even close to as good as mine. These pancakes are better than mine. They're served with a special sauce that... More

We were staying with friends on Windward side and had heard great reviews of this restaurant from them, but no one wanted to stand in a long line on a Saturday morning. So we ordered pancakes for "take out" and they were ready when we arrived to pick them up. We got the white macadamia nut topping which was truly... More

We went on a Tuesday morning to this highly rated restaurant in Kailua. Things to know: 1) you're gonna wait. Our party of 4 waited 30 minutes to be seated and then service was very friendly, but slow. 2) cash only, but they have an ATM 3) maple syrup purists--there is only Log Cabin on the table 4) a 3...
