We drove here from Waikiki and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We waited for about 30 min to be seated but we reserved quickly once seated. The banana pancakes with Mac nut sauce were phenomenal!

We drove all the way from Waikiki, left at 6am, buy the time we got there they already had MORE THEN 45 minutes wait! They finally called us in, staff wasn't very nice but polite enough. They brought us our food, but we had to wait for drinks. Banana Mac pancakes were plain, nothing special, tasted like pre-made mix for...

Obviously this is a successful business--the long lines and wait to get in are incredible! We didn't think it was worth the wait though. It feels like a crowded, assembly-line type of place. Their famous macadamia topping was really good, and their banana pancakes were tasty too. The service is friendly as well.
These are my all time favorite pancakes! The macadamia nut cream sauce is unlike anything you'll ever have on the mainland. So after 6 years we returned to the island of Oahu, and what topped my list of must sees?....Boot's and Kimo's for those ridiculously good pancakes that I have tried to duplicate at home, but failed of course.

My husband and I were actually on our way to Cinnamon's Restaurant, but it would have been another return trip there. So I made my husband exit and we were on our way to Boots & Kimo's instead since they weren't too far away.
I must say, out of all the places we ate at, we had to WAIT THE...

You have to eat their macadamia nut pancakes. Get them, eat them, get some to go! Go early to bet the crowds of make it a lunch stop. You can get it to go and eat on the beach at a picnic table too.
My family recently tried out Boots and Kimo's and I have to say I was disappointed. The hostess was rude, the wait was long, and the food (yes even the pancakes that everyone raves about) was mediocre. Most of the patrons are tourists from Japan and the staff doesn't seem too happy serving these folks. The feel in the restaurant...
