Over all it was good

We had the macadamia pancakes and the Loco Moco. Both were very tasty. Cash only and be prepared to wait if you need a table for 3 or more people. It is a hot place for the Japanese guidebooks. For me once was enough but it was an enjoyable one time :)

Gluten free chicken sausage. I had the scrambled eggs and hash browns with the chicken sausage. They cook everything on separate grills.

My wife and I got their French toast and banana pancakes. I would say that both were average. What makes this place special is there macadamia nut sauce they put on top of it. Their sauce may be the most delicious sauce I have ever tasted. Due to the long waits we read about I just called in the order... More

The food is good, but not as great as the wait would make it seem. The place is small and busy so plan on waiting. If it wasn't for the wait, I would rate it higher, but very few places are really worth the wait. But if you're visiting and want to see what all the hype is about, I... More

the food is unique and great, also the service is good, but be prepared to wait for up to an hour to get seated. I've seen as many as 25 people outside waiting for a table.

We asked for a table at 10am. We were told we had to wait for an hour and that if we weren't there when table ready, we would lose our place in the queue. So we waited in the sun. We waited for two and a half hours before we were seated (after several assurances about timing which were woefully... More

Boots and Kimo's is still unique and delicious five years after our last visit. Their new location is bigger, but the wait is still long. Come here for pancakes with mac nut sauce, Portuguese sausage, or omelets. Tropical fruit juices and smoothies are good too. Relax and take the time to have a classic Hawaiian breakfast.

Seriously. I'm so sick and tired of whiny, pretentious reviews. "The line was too long" ... "The wait was too long." Boo-hoo-f-ing-hoo. You know what? Next time you want breakfast, get your fat a-s out of bed earlier to avoid the lines. Service too slow? Put down your g-dang cell phone and TALK TO THE PERSON IN FRONT OF YOU.... More
