Yum!

Breakfast is served all day at this Hawaiian cosine restaurant. Good thing, because I wanted the Banana Pancakes with macadamia nut sauce and my husband wanted short ribs. No reservations taken here, be prepared to wait, it is a small restaurant.

Make sure you give yourself plenty of time as the line can get long for breakfast. I had the Bacon Omelette and honestly I still think about it! Of course the coffee was amazing, I think I had about 6 cups. The staff was friendly and everything we had was awesome!

Even I got back in DC, I still think about the Macadamia Nut Sauce Pancake that I had at Boots & Kimo's Homestyle Kitchen. It was 5-10min distance from Laniaki Beach which is the BEST BEACH in Ohau. We ordered four omelettes with the pancake to share. The Omelettes were all SO GOOOOOOD! Alfredo omelette was best. The Mac' Sauce... More

I expected the pancakes with their special macadamia sauce to be overly sweet, but it was pleasantly surprised that it was wonderful. I ordered the banana macadamia pancakes with macadamia sauce and they were good. I will be craving them for month back in Alaska! My husband had a omelet that was good, but not amazing.

After an early morning hike, we stopped at Boots & Kimo's to find out why the line was always so long. As a party of 5, we had to wait about 45 minutes, which we understood because the restaurant is a little small and definitely set up primarily for parties of two or three. The staff was very pleasant and... More

The menu is vast with ALL being good so one trip is not enough. There is usually a long wait but it is worth it. Gotta go for the pancakes! The chop steak is also super!!

One of my nieces friends recommended us to visit this place and have their pancakes with the macadamia nut sauce. The pancakes were traditional pancakes and the sauce was freshly made. It was a different type of sauce than anything offered on the mainland. It was pretty good with a creamy but mild macadamia nut flavor. The environment was sports... More

Let's keep this short and sweet; If you get the chance, you need to go! Get there early. Expect a wait. Expect the wait to be worth it! Expect fast, great service. Try the Mac pancakes Crave them for the following months after returning.

This place is very popular to the tourists so if you wanna dine in and be seated fast try to be early cause the line tends to get long. I love the pancake with macadamia nut. They only accept cash so bring some. The service is fast. I love the interior specially the little hut and the shirts hanging in... More

First, the place is cash only so stop at an ATM on your way over. Second, you MUST order either regular or banana (my favorite) pancakes with Mac sauce. The passion fruit guava juice is good too. We waited for a table for about 20 minutes as a party of two...not bad at all. I felt we received very good... More
