We got there really early so that we wouldn't have to wait in the long lines. We had no wait, and our order came quickly. The pancakes were good, but I can't say that they were amazing. They were pancakes. The sauce was also good, and different - but so sweet that about halfway through our meal, all three of... more

I, like most of the other reviewers, was so excited to eat at Boots & Kimo's. The wait was about 15 minutes to place order/get table. When the food came, it was not what I had ordered. I sent it back. I waited another 20 minutes and the corrected food never arrived. We decided to just pay for what we... more

Had Macadamia nut pancakes - oh so fluffy and delicious; mac syrup was amazingly scrumptious. We went on a Sun morning and the wait was very little (10min or so). It's quite crowded inside, but the service is great and you can't beat local food eaten by locals. Would love to eat there again. more

The best pancakes ever, period. Very cramped dining conditions and expect a wait. more

My husband and I went to Boots & Kimo's for breakfast on a Tuesday morning, around 10 a.m. We saw a lot of people waiting outside and figured we'd go ahead and wait, because we heard so many good things about the restaurant. We went in and left our name and a lady gave us menus. We then went outside... more

Macadamia pancakes to drool for and I'm sure there are other menu items that would be worth the wait. If you get there early, 7-8am, you will walk straight in if you get there late you will wait but the wait should be worth it. I want the recipe for the pancakes more

This is a family owned and operated diner. The atmosphere is not why you are there. You are there because they serve the best omellete you have ever eaten and mac-nut pancakes that are out of this world. The first time I went there it was a year ago on the recommendation of my vacation rental in the area. Once... more

After all the great reviews about the pancakes we decided to try Boots & Kimo's yesterday. We went on a Friday morning @ 9:30 AM. There was a long line, but that's OK, because I was expecting it. We put our name on the list for a table for 5. While you wait outside, a "waiter" ("waiter" is a real... more

My family and I went to Hawaii for our Spring Break. Even though we were all hungry and spent two hours driving the island to find this resturant it was amazing! The people were nice. Even though we waited outside it was beautiful outside and we got to meet and talk to people. The Banana Nut Pancakes were wonderrful. I... more

I went here last week for the first time. The Macadamia Nut Pancakes were the best. The batter that they put on the pancakes is amazing. The only downfall was we waited outside for over an hour before going in. I went with a few freinds so chilling out side was not too bad. I would highly recommend. more
