Best breakfast on a Monday in Kauia

We visited Cinnamon's mid morning on a Monday and it was very busy. It did not take long for the food to come after we ordered. I had the steak, eggs and pancake breakfast set and it was excellent. Steak was done exactly per my request - medium rare and eggs over easy. Pancakes was a stack of... read more

One of the best breakfasts ever. The pancakes are great - why haven't more people done red velvet?! I love the crab cake Benedict and love the coffee. Be there early to avoid the wait - they only take reservations for large groups. It's worth it though.

There will be a line. Ask to sit outside. Be prepared to wait. Coffee is fine and the ambiance is curious--you sit in a courtyard atrium surrounded by all sorts of other businesses. Solid menu of American breakfast standards, pancakes, eggs all ways and some island traditions. The food edges toward volume rather than quality and because the place will... More

This pace is delicious. They open at 7am and I suggest getting their between 7 & 7:30 as the lines get long and so does the wait. The serve is friendly and the food is great. You must try the cinnamon rolls. The owner makes them at home and delivers them to the store in the morning(saw them bringing them... More

As many other reviewers have stated, the pancakes are amazing! I love the red velvet ones, but the original are great too with coconut syrup. The eggs benedict is fantastic. You can mix and match. I usually do the crab cake and kalua pork plate with home fries. You can't go wrong with anything here. I recommend bringing friends, and... More

We had a reservation for 14 people at 10AM. This is a small kitchen trying there best to stay up with the crowd. The servers were nice. The location nice. The food was below average. To me it felt like they were understaffed for the crowd they had. Presentation of the food was poor. Some was overlooked. Nice average experience.... More

This was my 2nd time to Oahu and my 2nd time to Cinnamon's. It's still amazing. I had red velvet pancakes again and they are so amazing. Go with the outdoor seating if you can and get there early. We arrived at 7:30am and by 8am on a week day, the place was packed. The prices are reasonable and the... More

We had an enormous breakfast here this morning - I had a skillet and my husband had an omelette. Both were gigantic servings and absolutely delicious. Great coffee and service was provided with lots of smiles. Street parking is metered and costs about 75 cents per hour. There is indoor and outdoor seating and we chose outdoors. We arrived pretty... One of our favorite places to eat in Kailua for many, many years. However, it is getting more and more difficult for local people to eat here as bus loads of people get dropped off in town and know about Cinnamons. Parking can also be a problem in the area. However, I love the selections for breakfast (carrot pancakes) and... More
