Not cheap, but oh so good!

South American dishes and Hawaiian ingredients combine to create a great combination, from the starters through the entrées. I'm a particular fan of the Cubano among the sandwiches, the croquetas or the queso fundo as an appetizer. The cerviche is more like poke on greens than traditional... read more

My husband and i are big foodies and took a coffee and chocolate tour while visiting Oahu. The tour guide reccomended Cactus as we drove by and the first thing we did with our rental car was hop right over from Waikiki to Kailua for dinner at Cactus. We didn't have a reservation however they accomodated us right away. The... More

We have eaten here many times and never been disappointed. The chef blends fresh and local with South American cuisine that we find exceptional. This is not your usual Mexican taco place. Yesterday's lunch with another couple was sublime. We had the appetizer guanilla peppers, which were grown by a local farmer. They were sweet and spicy with just one... More

We had dinner here twice during our stay. I enjoyed their fusion of South American and Hawaiian food, as well as their mission to use local, sustainable products on their menu. The food is very diverse and unique, with lots of options for vegetarians. After perusing the menu, I couldn't decide on any one item, so I ordered a bunch... More

Cool little spot. Great Nachos. Decent main courses and very good drinks. Not much Hawaiian theme....but guess that's not what they are going for at all. Very good with our little kids. Worth a stop for sure

My husband and I went for lunch after the beach. Everything on the menu was unique and bursting with flavors. I had a salad that was probably the best Ive ever had. My husband had tacos and loved them also. I think I could eat that salad everyday. What a gem! Check it out.

We were visiting Hawaii during the week of Valentine's. We had not made reservations for Valentine's dinner but found this place on Open table. We happened to be in the area and decided to try it. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but it is very tastefully decorated on the inside. We sat on the patio outside It... More

Four of us had dinner ordering four different dishes. Each of us enjoyed our choices and each others' as well. The service was friendly and efficient. It seems like they were working as a team and were helping each other. It's nice when the staff looks like they enjoy working together and the results are beneficial to the customer. The... More

The food at this restaurant is fabulous! The service levels vary widely which for me impacts my overall experience. Had lunch there for a special occasion recently and here are the disappoitments. Our waiter was also the host. He seemed too busy as host to do both jobs (the restaurant was not full). We were seated and an appetizer order... More
