It can get rather busy, but the food is great, it is truly a great Korean atmosphere. If you go there for lunch, they have a special deal which is unbelievably priced for how good the food is. You get rice, soup, kimchee, vegetables/mac salad, and 3 entrees for about $15. The employees are great and I have gotten to... More

In Kailua for vacation and went to Willow Tree based on the reviews here on TA, and it did not disappoint! My boyfriend is a big fan of Korean food (eats it weekly back home in Vancouver), and he enjoyed the BBQ (particularly the chicken and kalbi) so much that we went back for lunch later on in the week... This is a small, but wonderful little Korean restaurant that served excellent bulgogi. Also, they served the most wonderful turnip soup! If you like Korean, you'll love Willow Tree!

I was really surprised by how good the food was at Willow Tree. I had the Kalbi, Spicy Chicken Katsu, Chicken Shoyu, with Kimchi and soup. The Spicy Katsu was out of this world, I could eat it every day for a month straight! The Shoyu was also delicious. The portion size was great, enough for 2 meals and the... More

This is a great little place to eat in Aikahi. The menu is widely varied and the food excels. Try the Kal-Bi for a great taste of really good Korean food!

get here before 4pm for the lunch specials (we just missed it). YUM! Great Korean that's not too greasy and everything is made in house. The bbq meat was amazing and we were sorry we couldn't come more than once!

The food is average. The place is pretty much a dive. Interior needs to be updated. Service is very good and their lunch specials are reasonably priced for the amount of food you get.

My husband and I stumbled upon this small, clean restaurant last year. We decided to go back to try it again. We highly recommend this restaurant. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is delicious. My husband had a combo beef dish and I had the Bee Bim Bap. Both were outstanding. The sides of different types of Kim... More

This was my first Korean food experience and it was great! The portions are large so we ordered a couple things and shared among 4 of us. The only thing that would have made it better is a glass of wine.

We LOVED Willow Tree. It's not fancy but it's clean and the food is AMAZING! My husband and I ordered the Spicy Pork and the Beef Bulgogi (pardon my spelling). We can't wait to go back. Dress attire is casual, price is very fair. I believe it was about $15 per plate which also included soup for each person and... More
