Great take out spot

If you are looking for some fresh poke, cooked ginger salmon or an upscale lunch plate to take to the beach this is your spot. Excellent qualify ingredients and a full liquor store to boot. A must stop on your way to Kailua Beach Park or Lanikai.

Having never tried Hawaii Poke before we weren't sure what to expect. The awesome staff walked us through all the choices and let us try different things. It was all really well prepared and fresh and most of tasted great. The lamb, chicken and beef options were also really good quality. The food coupled with the bottle shop made a... More

Our first time at Hibachi, and our first time eating Poke - WOW!! It's a cute little market with parking in the back. The young man who helped us was super charismatic and gave us great service. We split a regular bowl with ginger salmon, oyster ahi and tako. It was all phenomenal, but we did get another half pound... More

We love poke and this shop had great poke! We had two kinds both which were great. The young guys serving were really nice and helpful. We sat on their patio though wished we had taken it to the beach. I would definitely return here in the future.

What an amazing little store selling fresh poke of all kinds! I have to say it was the best i had so far! I had the ginger ahi poke and the salmon poke( i asked for a bit of both in a small container) and it was perfect! Makes my mount water thinking about it! So worth the stop!

Title says it all! Other than that, the staff was extremely helpful and informative to new poke connoisseurs and let people sample all the different types and flavors. Take out only, perfect to grab on the way to gorgeous Lanikai Beach.

As a poke newbie, I enjoyed getting to choose from a wide variety. Warning, you will need more rice than you think. I also got the octopus and shrimp poke. The stuffed portobello mushrooms were divine. We also enjoyed the chicken skewers.

I have tried a lot of Poke all over the island. My favorite is the wasabi poke from Hibachi. The end.

My wife and I discovered Hibachi on a five day trip. Once discovered, we ate there five times in three days. Easily the best poke in Kailua. Prepared fresh, multiple options and darn tasty. They also had salmon and a veggie option. What kept bringing us back was the price point and more importantly, the service. Very friendly and accommodating... More

This is the best Poke you will find in the area. A friend drives a half hour from Diamond Head to get his poke here, passing countless other poke options. They have a few different kinds of Poke and will even whip up a fresh batch if you ask. Not many people are on TA to find a great Poke... More
