Great Tastes, Friendly, Creative Owners

We have tried almost everything in this place and all of it is fresh and full of flavor. Get there early in the day for the biggest variety.

This place has an assortment of poke dishes to choose from. We probably bought 12 different dishes for our large group and no one had any complaints. Service was quick and friendly. The place doubles as a little general store also, so you can pick up your beer, etc. while getting your food.

Great customer service and my favorite limu poke on the island! I love how they served my limu bowl (they sprinkled furikake on the rice and the poke had tons of onions).

The variety of poke was great and the types of teriyaki impressive, pork, chicken and beef. They even have a number of side dishes including including sea salad and tako. It is a bit pricey but good food and generous portions.

It started raining one day after we were returning home from the beautiful Kailua beach, so we decided to park at the first restaurant we saw and have lunch. Oh dear, were we lucky! This is a small restaurant/snack shop without interior seating, but the food is really awesome and tasty. I've never eaten better prepared ahi poke, with soy... More

Staff is extremely helpful -- and allowed us to sample several types of Poke before choosing. The Poke and rice where excellent! In fact of our kids have now decided that Poke is their favourite food. Only dowside is that there are only three tables...so it is probably best to plan for take out.

HIbachi is supposed to have real fresh poke. It may be true, but the taste aint that great. The barbeque items may be ok, but the prices are astronomical for anything in here. Staff is very friendly. I guess it is geared to tourists and busy, affluent Kailua residents.

Nothing beats good poke salmon and tuna over rice with soy sauce. Also had meat skewers at $2.35 each for the beef which is fantastic. Not really a place for dining at only a few outdoor tables this is grab and go.

If you are looking for some fresh poke, cooked ginger salmon or an upscale lunch plate to take to the beach this is your spot. Excellent qualify ingredients and a full liquor store to boot. A must stop on your way to Kailua Beach Park or Lanikai.

Having never tried Hawaii Poke before we weren't sure what to expect. The awesome staff walked us through all the choices and let us try different things. It was all really well prepared and fresh and most of tasted great. The lamb, chicken and beef options were also really good quality. The food coupled with the bottle shop made a... More
