Yumminess on your way back from the beach.

Good shave ice. Service okay. Lines can be long. But it sure tastes good when you are hot on your walk back from Kailua Beach.

Looks like a clothing store, but they also offer fantastic shave ice inside. Clothes are also nice - with a great selection of local designs. Friendly service. All-in-all, a good place to know about.

For Kailua this is probably the best shaved ice... good service, good product. Parking is good but easy walk from the beach.

Two locations serving shave ice--the snow is sweetened condensed milk on top after the flavoring has been poured in. You don't have to have it and it's probably best left off. They also offer a scoop of ice cream at the bottom which gives the end of the treat a creamy finish.

This place is awesome and I'd say it's reasonably priced. This is unlike any shaved ice I've had before. You get a scoop of ice cream in the bottom, you can pick up to three flavors and you can get it "snow capped" it's like sweet cream on top so yes do that

We stopped at Island Snow after having spent a beach day at Kailua Beach. We had tried shave ice at a few other places around the island and thought Island Snow was one of the best! I had a coconut/pineapple ice and thought it was amazing! There are many flavors from which to choose and anyone I talked to said... More

I like their shaved ice, for me its smoother and finer. They have many flavors and they are all yummy and creamy, its a good stop before going to the beach or on a hot sunny day.

Shave ice... Well priced, good flavor and a fun beach experience. Attached to a fun beach wear store. Busy on busy days at Kailua Beach.

The President is staying in town for his annual vacation and visited yesterday. We heard that the entire shopping area is closed for his life visit. We thought we would come to compare it against our favorite. It was no contest. Matsumoto's is a clear winner in our opinion. The syrups at Matsumoto 's is better (sweeter) and they give... More

Island Snow is always my first stop in Kailua (now that they have two stores it is even easier). I also love the selection of local themed t-shirts - makes souvenir shopping a breeze for family and friends left behind on the mainland. Friendly staff!!!
