Nice course but made no use of the coastline

The course was nice but actually quite average for what we expect from a resort course in Hawaii. Turtle Bay has a wonderful amount of property, but the Palmer course takes no advantage of any of it. Only one hole comes close to the beach and that is because the approach shots head toward the... read more

The course was nice but actually quite average for what we expect from a resort course in Hawaii. Turtle Bay has a wonderful amount of property, but the Palmer course takes no advantage of any of it. Only one hole comes close to the beach and that is because the approach shots head toward the ocean finally. Not what we... More

This was a challenging course with a great location and several ocean view holes. I would have rated higher however our round was played in the driving rain so we didn't really get the full experience of how nice it would have been in perfect weather conditions. Would definitely play this course again.

Went thru two sleeves, last hole is a killer. Was in and out of sand on the whole course. Bummer was no beverage cart on the course, just a ' stand' at the 10th hole.

Played one round, and used the driving range. Eternally grateful to the man at the check in desk, he sorted me with a great partner. I found the course well maintained, not too busy(4 hrs for the round) and enjoyable. Early holes seem easy, but after about 4 you really need to start thinking about the next shot. Loved it

Challenging course. Never felt rushed. Take your time and enjoy the scenery. it gets really hot on the course so bring refreshments. We never saw a "beer cart?"

This course is the harder one at Turtle Bay and has some impressive holes and views. My wife and myself played it a couple of times and played Fazio in between. This was good as you need to get your head aroudn some of the greens and approach shots. Some great bunkering and a few water hazards but if you... More

Really good poke and lava flows. We enjoyed lunch here after golf and dinner another night. Nice, friendly staff.

Great shape, and not very crowded at a 1:30 tee time. A long ride out to the first but viewed the sea.
