Incredibly delicious, fresh food. My husband had barely-seared ahi tuna with wasabi mashed potatoes, while I had the day's fresh catch (butterfish) over a purple sweet potato puree and bok choy. Everything was outstanding. It wasn't cheap, but the portions were generous. We sat outside, which was lovely, though the chairs were slightly uncomfortable.

Ok, it was our anniversary and so we wanted to do something nice and there are not a lot of fine dining restaurants up here so this is where we went. We got there just as the sun was setting and the view is spectacular. There is a great little surf break right in front so you can watch the... More

This restaurant provided both amazing service and delicious fine cuisine. We visited Pa' akai multiple times during our trip to Hawaii and will never forget the friendly staff, management, and mouth watering meals! We both loved the scallops as a starter and I always had to get the catch of the day because it was incredible every time! The steak... More

Highly recommend the Himalayan Salt Block appetizer!! Just beware of horrible customer service including a lying manager and incompetent hostess.

Relaxing place with great live music that's not intrusive, excellent sunset views from indoor or outdoor tables. The onaga with sweet potatoes and onaga with taro were both good, and we had an excellent poke tuna appetizer. All around a nice meal and great service but expensive and not memorable

I loved everything I ordered at Pa'Kai, and so did my fiance'. I also had the most amazing infused martini I've ever had in my life- vodka infused with coconut chips and pineapple, this has go to be the MUST TRY drink here!

We had been to Turtle Bay 5 years ago and eaten at Pa'akai, remembered it as being delicious and it didn't disappoint this time either. Unfortunately we arrived on a Sunday and the restaurant is closed on Sun. & Mon. so we had to wait until Tuesday, our last night there. There is still a little construction going on for... More

We wanted to splurge on our last night in Hawaii and Pa'akai didn't disappoint. We went for the five course set menu with matched wines. The food was delicious and the portions generous for a five course menu, the wines perfectly matched and all at a very reasonable price for what was included. The restaurant had a romantic, quiet atmosphere... More

We just celebrated our 2nd anniversary at Paakai and it even exceeded our experience last year. Our host Eleanor seated us at a table with a beautiful view of the ocean and a spectacular sunset. The food was unbelievable: fish and scallops were just right and the filet was cooked perfectly. And, of course, the chocolate soufflé was the highlight... More
