We had been to Turtle Bay 5 years ago and eaten at Pa'akai, remembered it as being delicious and it didn't disappoint this time either. Unfortunately we arrived on a Sunday and the restaurant is closed on Sun. & Mon. so we had to wait until Tuesday, our last night there. There is still a little construction going on for... More

We wanted to splurge on our last night in Hawaii and Pa'akai didn't disappoint. We went for the five course set menu with matched wines. The food was delicious and the portions generous for a five course menu, the wines perfectly matched and all at a very reasonable price for what was included. The restaurant had a romantic, quiet atmosphere... More

We just celebrated our 2nd anniversary at Paakai and it even exceeded our experience last year. Our host Eleanor seated us at a table with a beautiful view of the ocean and a spectacular sunset. The food was unbelievable: fish and scallops were just right and the filet was cooked perfectly. And, of course, the chocolate soufflé was the highlight... More

being a foodie- this place is overrated and overprice. only good is the view. my poke made by tableside was too salty- you are better off to get a poke with one of the food truck. it is overprice!!! Go to ALAN WONG's for the price.

The floor to ceiling windows and upscale romantic atmosphere was beautiful. Perfect for couples! The food was a little over-priced for the portions you received. We got the raw platter and enjoyed it, but wish there were more great quantities of sea food on the platter.

This is great restaurant for couples. My husband and I ate here while staying at Turtle Bay for our honeymoon. We got the chefs tasting menu with the wine pairings. I highly recommend this option. We got to taste all of the items that highlight the chef. Everything we had was amazing. It was all cooked expertly. I highly recommend... More

I'm a local resident and do not get the luxury to eat out too often. We chose to go to Pa`akai....which I still call "The Cove"!. We had a wonderful dining experience....the scallops that I had and the Monchong my husband had were both "to die for"! Our sever, Justin, was on point the entire service. In fact, the manager,... We had a rehearsal dinner at Pa‘akai, and the food was superb and service flawless. The staff was magnificently helpful and friendly. We chose filet mignon and monchong (local deep-water fish) surf and turf for the entrée, with the mushroom risotto for our vegetarian option. Our guests raved about both. The checkerboard cake is REALLY good. If you want to... More
