Excellent dinner, but very expensive. We had a wonderful dinner at Pa'akai this evening. Everything was excellent from the salad to the dessert. Dinner was great. From the fish, to the rib eye, to the fillet and the lamb. My husband said his lamb was the best lamb he has ever had! It was very very expensive! But very, very... More

The flagship expensive restaurant. How often is it that the most expensive supposed great restaurant just fails to deliver? This was sooooo correct with this place. It's the only one of the restaurants I wouldn't go back to and didn't tip at. We sat outside to let the adults have a kid free dining area and we were basically forgotten.... More

My friend and I only stayed at Turtle Bay Resort for one night so we wanted to make the most of our stay. Pa'kai is the high end restaurant so don't go there expecting a cheap meal - it is expensive. But the five course meal with matching wines was spectacular, the food was really tasty, each course was a... More

We stayed at Turtle Bay for my daughter's third birthday (and staycation for mom and dad) and decided to eat here on night. We showed up at 5:30 and there were only two couples in the entire restaurant, but the snooty hostess turned her nose up when she saw our children and told us she could only seat us in... More

Pa'akai is the "high end" restaurant at the Turtle Bay Resort on Hawaii's North Shore. The room is spacious and the tables are well separated. The menu selections are varied, but the prices are on the high side...and the service is less than efficient. My wife had a glass of wine that tasted "sour" and waited some 20 minutes for... More

I had the surf & turf which was a filet with scallops. The scallops were perfectly cooked. The filet, while very good, was a little underdone due probably to my ordering request (on the low side of medium) so I didn't send it back to get them to cook it a little more.

Very good food. Service a little slower than expected. Perfect as a special dinner for two. Can get pricey, especially if adding drinks to the bill.

We were seated at a nice table with a view. We asked our waiter for a fresh flower in the flower vase as the one on the table was on it's way out. He did so quickly. The service was perfect and the food was outstanding! We will go back again.

Had a small dinner for 30 to celebrate a 15th Wedding Anniversary. From start to finish, this process was seamless. Our coordinator, Ceci, was amazing and accommodating at every opportunity that presented itself. The Chef provided an excellent dinner, our guests were blown away. The anniversary couple was so complimentary and were in awe of the food and experience provided... More
