Best meal of our trip was eating poke on our lanai. Really, really fresh fish, really good poke! Don't let the looks of the outside turn you off....go inside to the back counter and get your poke on!

We never had poke bowls before coming to Hawaii and now we don't know what we will do without them. We mentioned to the owner of the beach house that we rented that we like to stay away from the touristy stuff and preferred more of a local flair, so she made a list of the best in the area.... More

Spent 3 days north shore - best Poke ever at this place. A must for Poke lovers - pretty good selection of wine and beer as well but Poke is the draw for sure!

What a deal at only $6-$8 for a ton over nice rice! Different options but stick with the shoyu it's yummy. We got some each night an enjoyed the sunset with it. Don't miss it - and don't go there for anything else - not a really well stocked superette.

This place was awesome. It had literally everything you'd need from champagne to beach attire to novels and chocolate. I wish all hotels had something like this.

Good selection of grocery items and open late. Appears to have very popular food counter as well. We bought grocery items here for use at condo.

I walked over to the Superette with a local, after hearing how great it was. I was not disappointed. I had the spicy and the toke poke - both excellent. Obviously the superette could use some sprucing up, but I just went to the back, got my poke and left. Good prices, great food. I had to take it over... More

After a number of reviews mentioning the poke I made an effort to try it. We tried the shoyu and the spicy poke. I tried to like it but I was disappointed. The shoyu lacked in flavor and the spicy tasted fishy. Both seemed unfresh. Perhaps cause they sat in the bins in front of the deli counter. Not very... More

I didn't know what to expect from a 'Suprette' but its a mini market. The shelves werent well stocked - actually they were pretty empty. They had next to no fresh produce (which on holidays i crave). Come here for basic snacks and soda. The cashier was on her cell while she served 3 people. Not very professional.

I only stop here to pick up poke. I suggest you do the same. I have been to numerous poke places around the island and the poke here is in my top 3 - quality fish, perfectly seasoned with shoyu, sesame oil and seeds, pepper, sea weed and red pepper. Price is fair too. You can get rice with it... More
