Awesome food!

My friends had the burger which they raved about! I had the Kalbi Ribs cooked medium and they were so fresh and yummy! The macaroni salad was also good. However, the banana pie is a must!!! Nice place to sit inside or out. Friendly service as well.

This is a little, laid back restaurant with North Shore ambience. We ate breakfast here & it was oh so tasty! I had the Supreme Pancakes -- banana, chocolate chip and macadamia nut, cooked right in the pancake. My husband had the Ham and Cheese Omelette with hash browns and toast, as well as the Hawaiian Sweet Bread French Toast.... More

Great place if you want to be low key and mingle with the locals. The food was excellent, although many dishes were sold out by the time we got there (6:00PM) But the Sautee Shrimp and the Steak and mushrooms were divine. We are told my the locals that the garlic chicken and the peanut butter rolls are the best.... More

Yum! Roast pork and gravy with rice. Reminds me of something my grandfather made. This isn't a fancy restaurant -- more like a take-out/diner so I can't say it was excellent but if you want some deeply satisfying old fashioned good food this will do. Plus the guys were nice and it was a mellow place for locals.

We had the teriyaki beef and the grilled fish (two dinners and one drink for $30). The portion sizes were good and the dinners came with two scoops of rice and macaroni salad. The strips of beef were very tender and the teriyaki sauce was very flavorful and sweet without an overpowering salty taste. The fish was good but according... More

Went to Pap Ole's, next to the Long's, and tried the ribs, the garlic chicken, and the cheeseburger. All were good, but the clear favorite was the chicken. Went back a couple of days later for breakfast, pancakes huge and tasty, fried Spam just right. Eggs, omelets, all good. Not fancy, but this is what we like to find in... More

We decided to try Papa Ole's at the recommendation of some locals we met at a dive shop. Upon arrival you could tell it was going to be good food as there were tons of locals there enjoying meals with their families and friends. We tried some of the local foods and it was great! Not only that, the prices... More

SO YUMMY! Try the pancakes supreme with bananas, choc chips and mac nuts with a banana cream sauce. Or the omelet supreme with fried potatoes. The servings were very large, so you could easily share or take home leftovers. The atmosphere is very casual outdoor picnic tables, but the food is very worth the stop.

Nice little place to stop asking the North shore. Quite a cross section of beef, chicken, seafood, etc. all reasonably priced.
