Had the Aina special-mini. For $7.00 I had a ginormous hamburger steak, sauted mushrooms and onions, white mushroom gravey, way more than one scoop rice and one scoop mac salad. Topped off with a all you can drink soda, all under $10.00. Could not eat it all, could be share able for 2 average or small eaters.

Stopped here along the way to the north shore. Ordered the ham egg and cheese sandwich and was pleasantly suprised by the large thick cut ham atop a perfectly cooked egg with yellow cheddar cheese and to our SUPRISE a small dollop of mayo which at first seemed weird but was a great taste! The staff was very friendly and... More

First impressions aren't great, decor is very dated and seating area is just benches in a parking lot, but the food is great, and at a very reasonable price. It must be good because it was very busy and most people appeared to be locals. Also, staff are very friendly.

Went here with my family recently and it was the best food of the whole trip. The place doesn't look like much but the food was fresh service was good prices reasonable and plenty of seating. I had the ribs which were so good. I also tried the pork and rice, the steak and the teriyaki beef. Can't wait to... More

We always make it a point to stop there for some island favorites, always a line but the staff and menu makes it worth the minor inconvenience. Based upon a survey of the patrons, its a favorite of the folks in the area and tourist alike. Their steaks must be a winner since they've been out the last couple of... More

We went here on the recommendation of our tattoo artist down the street while on vacation in July 2014. Hubby got the Garlic Chicken which was excellent. I got the Pulehu Short Ribs. Service was good. People kept coming in and getting big trays of food which is always a good sign. Indoor and outdoor seating. Totally bummed they didn't... More

Great local food, tasty and fresh. Very busy restaurant for it's size. Locals frequent the place, driving for more than 80 miles to enjoy the food. The garlic chicken plate is my favorite.

We stayed on the North Shore recently and the owners of our beach house recommended Papa Ole's. We were not disappointed! Breakfast was fabulous - amazing pancakes, french toast and omlette's. Huge portions, great quality food and freshly cooked. Staff were friendly and welcoming and free wifi while you wait. Our only problem was what to do when they had... More

My Hubby loves Pancakes, and Papa Ole's makes the best in the area. They are 1 inch thick, light and fluffy but tender. Try the Macadamia Nut and Banana. Servings are huge. We took half our breakfast home and had it the next day....just as good almost. I had an omelet with home fries. Also good for 2 breakfasts. Prices... More
