We had shrimp take-out.

It was tasty and inexpensive. Even tho it was busy the service was fast. I noticed it because it was busy with locals and "the Blue Book" Oahu Revealed said it was better than the shrimp trucks. I was messy so I was glad to be in our condo where I have a bathroom to wash up in. The sides... read more

Just Superb. During our 4 days in Hauula we went here every day as there was no reason to try something else. Delicious burgers & breakfast options!

We first ate here in 2012 and loved it and couldn't wait to come back. We came here right after we checked in to our beach house for our first meal on the island and was just like we remembered...only they are REALLY busy now...thanks to all of these reviews I am sure. This is also a local place and... More

Tried this place since it was close to where we were staying. I had teriyaki chicken, it was pretty good, most Hawaii restaurants use a lot of thigh meat, so be prepared for that. My son had the garlic chicken and it was very dry and almost like they used the ends of the meat and it didn't have much... More

The teriyaki chicken and kalbi ribs are definitely worth trying. I loved the garlic shrimp plate. Overall the food was good but they could really work on cleaning up the tables better and whatever you do don't look into the kitchen, you might not eat there.

Went for breakfast on a Sunday morning and they were so busy! Phone ringing off the hook with to go orders & some inside/outside eating, but it was well worth the wait. I had the Loco Moco which was so filling and fantastic (regular size is a sharing size imo, so if it's just you get the smaller size). My... More

We had garlic shrimp before at roadside trucks but this was much better. The Terri chicken was also great. The BBQ ribs were the best thing we ate all trip. In my view, Papa Ole's place is cleaner, better food and great friendly service then the food trucks we tried. Such a fun place.

This was the first place we ate once we arrived in Oahu. The garlic chicken was fantastic and the Ribs and Garlic shrimp were too! Great portions, very friendly service. My husband and I ate there several times during our one week stay. breakfast was awesome too. Of all the amazing things we experienced while visiting Oahu, Papa Oles is... More

My husband and I were making our way to the North Shore on a Sunday and stopped by Papa Ole's after seeing the ratings on another site. What a find! This is clearly a locals place (and tons of bikers too) and the line was nearly out the door. To us, that's a sign that it's worth the wait! And... More
