As someone who travels to Hawaii regularly I have to say, I often think about Kua Aina. Hands down the best burgers on Oahu in my opinion. This time around we got the burgers to go - fully expecting them to be a sad sorry mess by the time we got around to eating them but I was amazed at... More

We had the Mahi with avocado, bacon and provolone cheese which was fantastic. We also had the teriyaki chicken with provolone cheese which was superb. The hand cut French fries were great

The burger was delicious. They add half an avocado which surprised me. The bell peppers were so good I recommend you add to your sandwich even if you don't like peppers it will rock your world.

We worked up an appetite after our shark adventure so Kua Aina fit the bill to fill our bellies! One can choose one's burger size as well as the fixin's. I went with a cheeseburger with fries, which comes with a carrot hunk, a rarity. The fries are super skinny and plentiful. One burger wasn't cooked enough by far (blood... More

We went back to Haleiwa to eat at Kua Aina. The pineapple burger is the best. Quality beef with no gristle (important to me!), ripe tomatoes, and delicious pineapple make this a wonderful choice for a burger. My husband had the Mahi, ortega (a mild pepper) and cheese sandwich. It was fresh mahi and he said wonderful. The shoestring fries... More

When you're in Haleiwa, Kua Aina is a must! Best hamburger in Da islands! Be sure to order the French Fries with your meal. They are great. And the carrots they give you on the side are to die for. Usually long lines around lunch time, but it moves fast. Great service, surf theme, friendly employees. Make you feel right... More

If you want to good burger on the North Shore there are not many options. In fact I think this is the only option. After you overlook staffing and logistical issues at this restaurant. I've been there when they run out of things like french fries. Or when They get your order wrong or forget your drinks. But you need... More

A pleasant lunch stop on a hot day found my husband and I enjoying a delicious sandwich, a garden salad with grilled chicken and a basket of home style french fries. I enjoyed my salad, it had a range of very fresh ingredients and a reasonable portion of chicken. Great friendly and efficient service.

I got an avocado burger and it was simply to die for! It's by far my favorite burger I have ever eaten. The kiddie burgers here are very small but have a big bun still so keep that in mind if you order that. Honestly, the fries were some of my favorite fries I've eaten for awhile. They were thin... If you looking for a nice sit down but fairly quick meal. It's like fast food but not. Get an extra order of carats. Awesome, sweet n crunchy. A very local feel but NUFF tourists in this joint too. Nice mix of locals, beach going familys surfers and haoles. Get in there and enjoy some turkey sandwich carats and shoestring... More
