Hard to find but good

Seemed to be made to order - waited about 15 minutes but the shrimps were tasty and hot. Difficult to find - parked among a bunch of food trucks.

So Cheesecake Factory and Ruth's Chris Steakhouse rank higher than this on Oahu. What's wrong with people? Stay home and go to Applebees. The Shrimp is as advertised. Wait in the line it's worth it.

Despite the long lines, the staff are actually pretty efficient. It's the diners who hold up the line taking photos and being indecisive despite a simple menu. The shrimp scampi was super tasty and made the wait worth it. The hot and spicy was pretty brutal even for kimchi-eating Koreans like us. I can't compare to the other shrimp trucks... More

This was very good although shrimp was only slightly on the chewy side but a great first time to experience shrimp in Hawaii

Honestly you must go, get in line, order the number one (their garlic shrimp), wait patiently while those before you eat theirs and then tuck in when you receive yours. They are fresh, plump, full of garlic and totally delicious.

Came here on the suggestion of a friend who has lived and worked on Oahu for about 5 yesrs. "Everyone knows about the North Shore shrimp trucks ... but Giovanni's is the best of them all." And so we went. There's ample seating in the covered picnic area. Cost is $10 a plate of shrimp and rice. This is a... More

My husband and our friends rented a car to drive from Honolulu to the North Shore. Giovanni's was suggested to us. As we drove that beautiful route we did hit some traffic and it took us about 90 minutes longer than we expected. We were a little nervous that Giovanni's would either be closed or sold out by the time... More

Twenty people in line, three or four picnic tables, all full.Cash only.five or six items on the menu. They all looked good. This was an experience everyone should try except the health inspector. Walk on the wild side, you will enjoy.

The Scampi is garlicky and delicious, but the shrimp was clearly frozen at some point and lacked flavor on it's own. The Garlic Dog was large and garlicky delicious. Lines are epically long, but not as bad as the Kahuku location which accomodates tour buses. Any large "to go" order seems to add to the wait times. Outdoor shared tables... More
