Authentic

We all had the pancakes with bacon and eggs and they were great. An authentic Hawaiian experience that I'm glad I had.

We ate breakfast here after our morning shark encounter. It is small and run down but has wonderful charecter, and the food was great! I had Mahi Mahi and eggs breakfast combo and my wife had a Greek omlete. Everything was just so good. Give this place a try, great food!

This is a local hole in the wall restaurant. We loved eating here. There was a short wait but it was worth it. I got the breakfast in a barrel and it was fantastic. What really made it stand out was the potatoes. They have a fantastic flavor. Wife got an omlet and it was good as well. Total bill... More

Cafe Haleiwa is a must every summer when we come to town. It's a quaint little spot for breakfast (we've never been for dinner but I guess they are serving that now too). Wide variety of breakfast items. My favorite is the breakfast in a barrel burrito--so yummy! The sweet bread french toast is great too. Go early or you... More

This place got an ono from the team at Oahu revealed - sure it was a cheap breakfast relatively, but spend a few extra bucks for something decent. This place was definitely NOT ono!!! Nothing was homemade, the waitress actually came out and told us that (at 7:45am) they were out of pancake mix and the cook went to get... More

We often go here to meet friends and family when we don't want to cook breakfast. They have a good selection of omelettes, pancakes and standard eggs with bacon, ham et al. They recently put out a new menu, that doesn't have the veggie omelette - a favorite of mine, but if you ask they will make it for you.... More

Very small and quiet cafe in town. Great for breakfast. Get there early if you don't like to wait on a table, wait time is very quick however!

This is a great local eatery. The food is solid. Omelettes are good and made to your specifications. French toast with Hawaiian bread yum, home fries have great seasoning. Those that complain about no air conditioning or the decor need to go back to Waikiki. You want a solid North Shore meal come here.

My family and I stopped in for breakfast and we all loved our food. I had the asparagus omelets with added avacado. It was so good, potatoes were awesome, and it is one of the few places that have really good bacon. My daughter loved her burrito my son LOVED his Hawaiian bread French toast, dh enjoyed his add well.... More

We arrived at the end of the breakfast rush and waited a few minutes for a table. Service was prompt and friendly. We had banana pancakes and French toast. Portions were large and very good. Coffee was delicious. Prices were reasonable. If you're looking for a posh restaurant go elsewhere. This cafe is typical of the North Shore. No frills,... More
