Best Breakfast in Haleiwa

BREAKFAST BURRITO!!! Ok, maybe it's called breakfast in a barrel to keep the local board heads happy but it's a damn good burrito whatever you call it. I had three of them on our last trip. The pancakes are apparently good too, try the banana, and my son stuck with the omelette. The wait staff... read more

My family wasn't very happy when I told them that we were going to driving an hour to get breakfast but I promised it would be worth it. The banana pancakes are fantastic. We had a short wait but once seated we were served fairly quickly.

If the condition of the interior could testify to the character of this cafe- then the message sent is not favorable. This cafe is located across from MacDonalds, next to the Gecko parking area where the Haleiwa food trucks are congregated. I wanted to sit and dine in an air conditioned cafe since our ride to the NS was long... More

But we were a little disappointed. The food was just okay. The 4 of us each had a different breakfast item but nobody thought it was anything special. We felt like we were eating with the locals, which we wanted to do and anticipated something great from reading the other reviews. We enjoyed the experience but the food was nothing... More

The wait was long, but service was friendly. Portions were large. Omelets had very little taste and the veggies were undercooked. We appreciated the coffee refills.

My family and I ate breakfast here. I had a delicious omelet and home fries. We all loved our food. It was nice to eat a fresh home cooked meal. The service was very good. It was an old building, but clean.

My partner insisted we eat at Cafe Haleiwa as he had heard about it through others and it's supposed to be the inspiration for Jack Johnson's 'Banana Pancakes'. We were not disappointed. The cute little Cafe served delicious, fresh food and the service was warm and friendly. It was not expensive either! Service was fast and we did not have... More

Been several times to Haleiwa and never got to this place because of the lines in the morning for breakfast. They serve dinner not every night (call) I think Wed. thru Sat. Sit our back if you can which I didn`t know they had, nice atmosphere. Casual like everyplace in Haleiwa. Was looking forward to some fresh fish. None on... More

The cafe serves traditional hawaiian breakfast as well as blueberry and banana pancakes. The serving sizes were very large, making the prices reasonable (especially considering prices of other places in the area). Service was friendly and quick. The atmosphere is casual and laid back. It was definitely some of the best food in the area. Glad we found it!

Cafe Haleiwa is a retro style cafe that has really interesting and delicious food. The menu has lots of fresh healthy food that tastes beautiful. Reasonably priced and very friendly staff. Definitely worth having a meal there.
