Good food, service could be a bit better

We stopped in here to eat after walking around Haleiwa. The main entrance is in the back...not along the street, but that's where people were entering so we followed suit despite the small sign requesting folks to use the main entrance....(we had no idea where this entrance was because its not off... read more

Arrived with luggage which they were happy to stow. Wonderful Aloha spirit, waitress was super friendly. Service was slow but we were killing time, so it didn't matter. Place is somewhat rundown, but not surprising with the amount of tourists that pass through every day. Portuguese sausage soup and salads were good and filling although like all the food on... More

The food was okay... The place is run down but really has potential to be very nice. But the service stood out. This was the most friendly service that I have ever had at a restaurant anywhere I have ever been... seriously. ..

Apparently Pizzas are famous here! We paid close to 28$ for a Pizza which apparently was a large, looked more like a medium, it was loaded with cheese, almost no seasoning or garlic and calls itself the godfather, little did they know that an italian style pizza needs those 2 ingredients above. Was really shocked when I got the box... More

While visiting the North Shore we tried to fit in lots of sights in a short amount of time. We were starving and Pizza Bob's was right in front of us so we decided to give it a try. The food was ok, nothing special or memorable and the service was fair. The food took a while which was slightly... More

Save your money for the pizza place across the street. Even my kids wouldn't eat the pizza at Bob's. The calamari was bad too.

We were on our way around the island and had wanted to stop here on a previous outing. The Pizza was OK- but the salads, burgers, and sandwiches were really good. After some so-so service at other places, we found our server was stellar! Such a breath of fresh air, not just to us but to all her tables. This... More

Was looking for breakfast and stumbled on this place. Breakfast on the patio was excellent, so good went back a second time and took our host in Hawaii and she ended up taking the next guest. Also bought the t-shirt, guess you could say I am a fan. Had the Loco Moco and Mahi Mahi

I need to be balanced about this. It's a hugely popular place. And probably rightly so. But if you are not someone who likes a gloopy mass of these on your pizza, this place is not for you. My wife and I both sent ours back. It was just a thick mass of awfulness. To be fair, the manager didn't... More
