During our first visit to Hawaii, we rented a car and drove up towards the North Shore. We happened to come across Kono's in a small strip mall and went in for a bite to eat. Was hoping for some good local food, and I must say I was not disappointed! We both had the pork and it was outstanding!... More

We didn't choose Kono's for lunch - my cousin did - and boy, what a marvelous idea! I had the pulled pork burrito, my husband had the pull pork plate - excellent, well seasoned and delicious! The pineapple ice tea was a real treat - and they offer free refills, as many as you can handle. The group of us... More

Ate here at breakfast on our trip around Oahu. It was definitely a good choice! We both had breakfast burritos and they were some of the best I have ever had. They are pretty large, not like the skinny ones here in Texas. The service and people working here were extremely nice and helpful. We will deinitely be back!

My family and I had breakfast at Kono's several times during our recent multi-week vacation on Oahu. We all loved the vibe, and the food and service were quite good as well. Three of us would order various breakfast burritos, biscuits and gravy w/eggs and bacon, and/or granola with fruit, while one of us would always get a lunch sandwich.... More

We had a lunch at Kono's consisting of a Turkey sandwich with avocado and a kalua pig burrito. Overall great experience, reasonable price, and you can't beat the atmosphere - surf pictures on the walls and tables shaped like surfboards. Staff was very friendly and service was good. If you're in town, be sure to go there.

My husband and I went for breakfast here twice on our trip. The burritos here were delicious and extremely filling. We were good until dinner. My husband liked it so much, he has been walking around New Jersey with his Kono's t-shirt on, singing its' praises! A definite must on the North Shore.

We checked out Kono's based on the TA reviews, and I'm glad we did. Kono's is a cute little joint in a strip mall with both indoor and outdoor seating, and their food is great! We were in the area for 3 days and had breakfast there twice. Both my husband and I had burritos both times- you can order... More

This was my favorite local place I stumbled upon while on our trip around the island. If you drive around the perimeter of the island you won't find much in the way of restaurants until you get to hale'iwa. I got there at 9am in the morning and was able to get their pig over rice. It was so great... More

Just spent a week in Haleiwa and stumbled across this lil place. Wow what a find, wish I had found it the first day instead of later in the week, My man and I had breakfast there about 3 times... the breakfast burritos and the bisquits and gravy and the bisquit sandwich with bacon, egg and cheese. All fresh made... More
