Great food family size portions! I ordered the clam chowder and special of friday which was chicken with mushroom gravy. Awesome! I could barely finish the clam chowder. All portions are huge. Very filling and taste is really good. I been here before for breakfast. Equally as great! Highly recommended.

I rated this place excellent simply because I go there only for the oxtail soup. Love it. Service is fast, the soup is ono - so delicious. And they still leave that bottle of ginger on the table so you can use as much as you want. The small size looked like it got smaller though. But otherwise, love love... More

We go often to this place for meals. They serve local style breakfast and meals. Price is reasonable so we go often for dinner. Service is always friendly and casual.

The food is terrific. Lot's of local foods on the menu. There are daily specials. I love the corned beef and cabbage. Parking can be a problem at mealtime.

Was in the mood for soup and decided to try the oxtail at Kapiolani Coffee Shop. Oxtail soup is big among kama'aina and we all want to know where the "best" can be had. Looking over the menu, I noticed a basic liturgy of local options. I asked what was most popular and was told the oxtail, so I went... More

You go here pretty much for one reason: ox tail soup... no reason for me to try anything else on the menu yet. Fair price for a fair portion with generous fixings. A low key place with friendly folks working there. We were told that there is an off-the-menu size of OTS equal to a combined large and small...it must... More

Back when KCS was located in the Kam bowling alley we would go there to get a bowl of their famous ox tail soup all the time. When a national drug store chain took over the building housing the bowling alley we thought that our go to spot for comfort food was lost. Thankfully there is KCS in waimalu. Ox... More
