They have fabulous PRIME RIB on Thursday nights, also great fish dinners. The best part is YOU can take YOUR own wine or beer with you, it's not the cleanest place, but it's a lot of fun, & great food! Good breakfasts!

We ate at the cookhouse and it was amazing. First it's cash only. Affordable at $15 for dinner and gave us more food than we could eat. We both had the mixed plate which included 2 meat entrees with two scoops rice and Mac salad. I had the mahi mahi and beef stir fry. Both were absolutely amazing but I... More

Had a mahi mahi dinner here. The fish was super fresh, perfectly grilled and was a surprisingly large portion. The accompaniments of macaroni salad and a green lettuce salad were tasty and fresk. In fact, the mac salad may have been the best I ever ate...for mac salad, that is. This restaurant was the most inviting and highly acclaimed eatery... More

This restaurant is rated as one of Molokai's best eateries by several guidebooks. Our experience didn't really measure up. We went for both lunch and dinner and would rate it mediocre in every way. Limited menu, fair food, not really very clean, and waitress rather sullen and slow. I get that that it's Moliakai time and they don't rush but... More

Well if you don't mind a lot of fat and starch with your local colour, eat here. When you encounter a menu that gives French Fries and Macaroni as its two sides (no substitutes, like perhaps a salad?) that should get some amber lights flashing. My friend ordered the special, fried chicken. It came with a lot of batter and... More

Tied for the best dinner with Paddler's Inn. Had a fantastic bbq rib dinner with salad and baked potato. Portions were huge. Service ok. Water tasted a bit of dish soap as did the ice tea. No booze so bring your own bottle if desired. Priced about normal for Molokai.

Granted there are not many places to eat on Molokai, but this one gets such good reviews. We We did lunch. Don't. We ordered mahi burgers. Got more bread than fish, the fish was fresh and okay. Came with Ore Ida french fries for $10. You had a choice of french fries or mac salad.. starch or more starch. My... More

Wonderful food! I had the sauteed ono, and my Dad had the steak and bacon-wrapped shrimp. Everything was fabulous, and portions were huge. The restaurant offers a real range of food--from full plated specials with steak, seafood, and ribs (around $30), to traditional and kid-friendly dishes like a basic hamburger. Prices really reflect what you get (you can get a... More

Get there early for the prime rib dinner and eat outside if the weather is good. This is a busy place and is not only for tourists. There were locals there as well.
