We went back a couple of times and each time was an excellent meal. Molokai has limited options for eating out but this place is worth seeking out. Their ribs were excellent! The sauce was amazing. It's a bring your own bottle place frequented by locals. Don't be surprised to order something and be told they are out-since it's a... More

We have been going to the Island for 15 years now and always stop at the Cookhouse. Just to clarify it's name, it is called the Cookhouse because it was in fact the actual cookhouse for the Sugar Cane workers back in the days when sugar cane was grown commercially on the Island. The food is always good and plentiful.... More

What a great stop. We had our first meal on Molokai here after landing at the airport. Definite small town (or small island!) family-run feel. Food came out quickly and hot. The teriyaki beef plate was dynamite. Really great flavor. The fries were the usual crinkle cut, but hot and crispy. Mac salad was served with a full hard boiled... More

Small cookhouse, reasonable menu with the usual things, sandwiches and burgers, but also lunch time and dinner items. Food very tasty and reasonably priced.

This is a funky local restaurant with a very friendly proprietor and great island food. We enjoyed our dinner so much that we went back for breakfast the next morning and it was wonderful too. Consider splitting a meal. There is plenty of food. They do not take credit cards, so bring cash.

Great Prime rib. Great boneless fried chicken. Do not expect table cloths, candle light or anything else that will make this romantic. IT'S AN EATERY!!! And if you would like a beer, cocktail or wine with that. Bring it yourself. Yes, they do not sell alcohol. Don't be embarrassed, you will be in the minority if you don't bring your... More

On the island of Mokokai there isn't a whole lot of choices for food. We were here 6 years ago and remembered having breaking at the Cookhouse, so we decided to give it a try for dinner. Lucky for us that prime rib is a special on Thursdays! My husband and I both had the prime rib with French fries... More

My husband & I arrived on Molokai late Saturday night. Come Sunday morning we needed breakfast before heading to one of the open markets to stock up our kitchen. We ended up being customers a few minutes before their actual opening time but the local EMTs beat us in the door. We dined inside. There is also outdoor dining at... More

Other reviews we saw encouraged us to try this place, and it's not real fancy, but the food is very good... If you're in this area of Molokai and need a place to eat, this is it!
