My wife and I had the pleasure of dining here with another coouple, who live on the island for the majority of the year. This is their "go to" place. Note my rating is calibrated to the locale. In most locations the Cookhouse would be only ok. But on Molokai I rate it as very good. Note: I did see... More

My husband & I enjoyed a early dinner. I had the burger which was good. My husband had the chicken and it was excellent. The staff were friendly.

Hi All. Remember where you are - back country Molokai - and I reviewed it as such. This is a cookhouse where the locals, the cops and the EMTs eat - hence the name, so leave your credit cards in your wallet - they don't take them. Having said that, they have a nice choice for breakfast and lunch. The... More

The Cookhouse was the first and only place recommended for breakfast as we got off the plane and that is where we headed. The food was decent. Some where above $12 for an omelet was a bit pricy but the portion sizes were large. Note to local rice must-havers one scoop only. I rather enjoy the country decor of a... More

If you are looking for the local diner where the food is good and the price is reasonable stop here. Can't say the decor is anything to write home about and the exhaust fans in the kitchen can use some work, but the food was great and the staff is friendly.

We have been to the Cookhouse for breakfast on a few occasions and have been served quickly and with very tasty meals. Would recommend a meal or three here. If you don't have a vehicle, the MEO bus stops there.

A trip to molokai wouldn't be complete without a visit here. Don't get too excited, the food isn't as good as some reviewers are saying. Just good ole homestyle teri pork and fried rice but it sure sets the tone and hits the spot.

Came here for dinner after reading other good reviews for this restaurant. My husband and I really enjoyed the food because it was very tasty and the portions were quite big. Nice menu selection. The atmosphere inside felt like in the olden days with the type of decorations, kind of reminded me of like eating in someone's home dining room... More

This was one of our best meals in Hawaii and the best in Molokai. Services here is top notch, atmosphere makes you feel like a local, the food and serving is the best part. Huge platters of food await you and don't expect to eat dessert as you'll fill up on your plate. If we had more time, we would... More

They have fabulous PRIME RIB on Thursday nights, also great fish dinners. The best part is YOU can take YOUR own wine or beer with you, it's not the cleanest place, but it's a lot of fun, & great food! Good breakfasts!
