Great food; average service

We came twice in our two day trip because the food was good. For breakfast we split pancakes, eggs, bacon, and home fries. Very fluffy pancakes and tasty sides. For lunch, my husband got a mahi burger, and I got a Cobb salad. We were impressed with the food and prices. Our service was very "meh... read more

Our server was so friendly, genuinely! The restaurant is very casual, picnic table dining outside. I had the baby back ribs, not something I would normally order but it was recommended by a local. I am so glad I listened, they were delicious! Tender, meaty and delicious!!! My plate came with a side salad - fresh, choice of rice or... More

Most definitely the best restaurant on the island. We went for dinner (they are BYOB) and 2 of us ordered Cobb salads which were very good and quite filling. I can't remember what the other 2 entrees were, but they were much enjoyed. I think one was the Teriyaki chicken and the other was fish. Anyway, not to be missed... More

Picnic table under a shed dining experience (we opted to pass on the indoor tables due to heat). Menu portions were generous and quite tasty.

This place was suggested by the girl at the front desk of our hotel. Her claim; " you will not be disappointed", and she was absolutely spot on. Since it was on the way to our planned visit to the Moloka'i Museum and Sugar Mill, it was convenient as well. Like most places on Moloka'i, it is the opposite of... More

The front desk staff at the Hotel Moloka'i recommended this restaurant to me. I am very grateful! The Kaulapu'u Cookhouse is a fantastic place for breakfast. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, and will definitely dine here again if I visit Moloka'i in the future. The food was high quality and was expertly prepared. The portions were huge! (In fact, do... Food is delicious, people (wait and customers) are so nice and friendly without being intrusive. We ate outside on the picnic tables. Found the portions quite plenty...enough to take back for snacks later! You must try this place out.

We heard wonderful things about this small restaurant. So, we gave it a try for breakfast. Dine inside or out on picnic tables. Spouse and I ordered simple eggs, toast and sausage. It took quite awhile for it to come out and we were the only patrons there. The eggs were over done and were so, so greasy. They were... More

We had chicken fried steak, ribeye, veggies and rice with gravy. Food was ok... The choc mac nut pie was the highlight!

This is a quaint little restaurant. Located on Farrington Ave in Kualapu'u, open for breakfast at 7 most days, serves dinner til 8 pm most days. I had the rib eye steak with bacon wrapped crab and jumbo shrimp. It was excellent! The steak was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. You can choose to sit inside (it's small and... More
