Best Ice Cream on Molokai

Be sure to sample as much as you can. It is a little expensive, but worth it. There are so many flavors to choose from. They also make their own waffle cones that are amazing.

We visited Molokai recently and went for ice cream everyday at Dave's Ice Cream Shop. The employees are very friendly and they have the very best ice cream flavors. Macadamia Nut is delicious along with other Hawaiian flavors. They also have some much needed items to purchase to make your stay on Molokai more comfortable. Wish we had Dave's in... More

I had read reviews about the ice cream at Dave's ice cream so we had to give it a try. It was so good we went back the next day. They have a large selection, it is very creamy, and so good. The staff are fun and offer suggestions and samples. Highly recommend.

Dave's icecream was great (made off the island and brought over). They also had cheap bags of chips and candy.

We tried the Purple Sweet Potato (PSP) ice cream and the Caramel Pecan. They were delicious. The Bright purple PSP looked like something from a children's cartoon, but don't pass this tasty treat up. The staff was very efficient and friendly.

A Don't miss when you are on the island of Molokai. We stopped most every time we were in Kaunakakai. The hardest part is picking a flavor. You won't go wrong with any choice. Very friendly employees also. It was fun to stop in.

Saw this place from our tour and knew we needed to come and check it out. Large variety of made right there ice creams. We tried three ice creams, a coffee flavored with chocolate swirl, chocolate chip cookie dough and regular (very dark) chocolate. The coffee was fair, the cookie dough was very soft, so hard to keep from melting... More

We all really enjoyed our stop at Dave's Ice Cream. The staff was helpful and gave us samples. It's a great little shop.

The ice cream has fresh ingredients (mine had mango), and it tastes sublime on a hot day. It isn't cheap, but, then, on this island, what is?
