General store with walk up window.

We had breakfast on our way to Halawa Valley. We both had chicken fried steak with gravy & eggs plate lunch which includes rice & macaroni salad.

This is a general store and walk up counter at the east end of the island. The little store has everything you need. If you can't find it just ask the girl at the register to help you. It's in there someplace. The girls running the walk up rock. In my opinion they are producing the best food on the... More

It's pretty much the only place to buy ANYTHING on the east end. Groceries and home cooking. Super nice folks.

This is one of those hole in the wall joints. It was a good stop over on the drive to the east end of the island. Nothing fancy just good burgers

This is by far my most favorite place to eat on Molokai. The food is ono (delicious.) Keep in mind the early (late afternoon-very early evening) closing hours. Remember this is Molokai, so it is very casual but you are there for the food. The only other place that matched this was at a Native Hawaiian's house that was having... More

On Molokai one of the best drives is to Halawa Valley, not only a scenic destination but an interesting and beautiful drive ( it is safe if you go slowly). On the way out stop at Mana'e Goods and Grinds for a good, plentiful plate lunch or bento. A bit pricey for a plate lunch ($10) but everything on Molokai... More

If you're staying on the east end and don't want to run all the way into town, the Mana'e store has basic drinks and snacks and the lunch counter serves up a pretty hefty menu of local favorites. The cheeseburger was juicy and flavorful and the waffle fries were crispy and seasoned. The honey chicken is a fried chicken with... More

We decided to stop here for lunch after visiting the eastern side of the island. We had the special, but it just wasn't special, compared to the other places we ate across Molokai. Perhaps it's because there is no competition in the area?

If you are driving to Halawa Valley, this is the last shop you can buy food and drink. The serving is generous, and food was tasty. I ordered Loco Moco, and it was very nice.

It looks Clean friendly and it is clearly a popular place to stop for plate lunch. We couldn't find anything to eat, personally, though. Disappointing. Local food isn't the most vegan friendly haha
