the lamb burgers are the most delicious thing in the world, they go well with a half order (full order feeds about 5 hawaiians) of crispy maui onions rings, salads are sinfully yummy with fresh homemade dressings

A hop, skip and jump away from Maui's State Building, we discovered this unassuming little cozy restaurant in the heart of Wailuku-Town. The grilled maui mahi sandwich was fresh, tender and served on a lovely french roll with lettuce, tomato drizzled with a home made cream sauce. Delish! Plated with home made cole slaw and dill pickle, perfect! I observed... More

yesterday I had lunch at the Bistro for the second time this year. Holy Moly the food was great AGAIN. The chef is also the owner and he creates amazing food from that kitchen. Service is perfect. I had Mahi with fried artichokes and the fish was so moist. we also had the house signature onion rings with house made... More

Service was great. Food saturated in fat, and old tasting fat at that! While one dish at our table was acceptable, the rest of us left with bad stomachs and the smell of old frier fat in our clothes and hair. The parts of the meals that were not deep fried were fine though. Pretty sure we won't return. Too... More

What looks from the outside like a small hole-in-the-wall dive, serves fresh and incredibly wonderful gastronomic creations and great drinks. Reasonable prices, too. I had a chicken quesadilla and a "beastro" salad. The salad was huge, and quite fresh and tasty. The quesadilla was amazing, served with a half avocado on top. Yum! My husband had the special of the... More

This is for people who enjoy good food. The food is so good that you want to eat everyday. There is something as unique as fried brussel sprouts. Great place for some good italian lunch. Don't go by the looks of the place and definitely stop by for lunch to enjoy food and charm of wailuku town.

Little hole in the wall place with dark brown walls, and the only view is Main Street, or a parking lot in the back. You don't go for the ambiance - you go for the food. I've gone for lunch with a friend three times in the last few weeks, and we're on senior budgets. I think we aim to... More

We were driving around looking for a place to have lunch and decided to try Main Street Bistro. We are glad we did. Amazing flavors and delightful combinations. You should try their onion rings.

The grilled mahi mahi with fried artichokes with truffle oil and balsamic served with mashed potatoes was truly wonderful, as we're the cherry-wood smoked chicken quesadillas. The shoestring onion rings looked REALLY good, too. The beer was cold! The only negatives: long waits because there are only two waitresses who also serve as hostesses and just one cook on duty... Classy, quality food in a low key, historic setting, I ordered the mahi mahi over mashed potatoes with blackened artichokes...it was divine. I couldn't believe how great the potatoes were, the artichokes were outstanding as well. The fish was fresh.
